Ade had a great season on loan for us too
18 goals 12 assists
That was 'good' not 'great' in my eyes.

Klinsmann possibly
I agree with Lion about Adebayor. I mean he had a very good season but his strike rate was still a 1 in 2, like Defoe's was when he scored 18. Bale scored more than both last season and he isn't a striker, and had more like a 2 in 3 strike rate. That's what's separates the good forwards from the great or potentially world class ones.
It's not really surprising to read that from Sherwood, although I do take it on board he's not a complete
I do however think he's out for himself
. "I have had a chance to play for a lot of top clubs in my career and I know how it's supposed to be. I told him one v. one and he didn't want to listen, and then I told him in front of the group...
"I know what Tim can bring into the club and we all see what he has brought into the club. For me, he is an unbelievable man, a nice guy with a huge character.
"He has been there for me since day one and he just told me 'Adebayor, I know how good you can be, I know you can be a very important player for this squad and to fight for the team. If you fight for the team, the team will be behind you'."
Which would explain a lot of Sherwood's comments, but I find it odd that having been at all the top clubs he prefers clueless Tim over AVB. The same Tim that bombed us out of the cups and slated the squad only for the performances get worse. Bale seemed to get along with him alright and actually flourished under his tactics so it's not as if AVB was terrible Ade just didn't like him.
I'll support Ade while he's here and have been at WHL to cheer his goals, but I'm sorry I think he's not worth trouble, on balance we could have a Lukaku or Benteke who will be part of the team rather than the team being there for him. IMO.

They're just a few obvious things we've all moaned about under Sherwood, but Ade doesn't care about stuff like that because Tim's triffic
Some really basic stuff that anyone with half a footballing brain can see. Maybe Shïtwood should sit on the roof so he can see it better.
Anyone watching the tennis?
Didn't know there was any tennis on. Just finishing a pre-season friendly on fm14 before getting ready for Everton vs arsenal
