I’m happy Bale is starting but I’m going to agree with the negativity on here. What is the point in taking Vinicius on loan if we are not going to play him when Kane is injured. Bergwijn should be on the bench with Bale in his place and Vinicius in the centre.

I still can’t forget when he came on against West Ham and was dead after 1 sprint

It was between Bale & Vinicuis,who starts in Kane’s place...

Bale was a lot better than Vinicuis, against Wycombe... so I guess that explains why Bale is in... not Vinicuis

Well someone is going to need to provide a bit of inspiration, whether it be Bale, Ndombele or Son.

Why not just start Vinicius ffs ? He’s done fine when he’s played. Huge importance on ndombele playing through balls as we will have no hold up play.

Son gonna have to be clinical on the 2 good chances he will get.

To be fair he gets roughly that sort of amount already and has been clinical enough.

Dier, Doherty,Aurier,Winks, Lamela & Lucas... were all really poor against Liverpool

Notice that none of them are starting today...

Lloris the only player who was also poor, starting today...

I'm sure Vinny will come on at some point. Can't see Bale or Stevie B or even Son completing 90min with Chelsea round the corner. We have plenty of games to play Vinny in the coming weeks.

This lineup is horrible and I'll be amazed if we play well
