I hope Conte is blowing his syrup at half time.

It was actually an encouraging performance. We look so much more fluid in attack. Could be down to the opposition as well, but I think the formation is helping. Shame about the defence.

The defence really isn’t good enough that much is clear and if we are to play 3-5-2 we need at least 2 new CBs which is a weird thing to say given how many we already have at the club. Lots of people continue to defend Dier and he’s been a decent servant to the club. But he’s just not good enough anymore and is rarely able to keep a high level for 90 minutes.

If we win the game then I will be very pleased with what Conte saw in that first half - can’t defend set pieces and brain farts around our own box.

Harry Kane looks faaaacked out there, sad to see, hopefully Conte can revive him.

To give credit to Vitesse their pressing has been excellent especially in the final third. Really giving our defense a huge amount of problems

Chalk and cheese. Quick vertical passing, plenty of zip, wing backs very involved

Kane has got used to dropping deep taking 4 5 6 touches and trying a hollywood pass.....We are now playing at 100mph and he cant seem to keep pace. He has the ability, just not up to speed.
