Anyway UEFA have gone all out and Borat will be presenting the trophy. Should be a great night.

Reggie can't pass straight. He wasn't the only one though. Whole team needs to go back to basics.

You could see the energy and commitment but this seemed to dominate and when it came to calm and precision we lacked. It will take a bit of time find the blend but I liked a lot of what we saw other than the goals.

Definitely a issue between Royal and Romero that area was the source of both there goals

Good interview by Conte. Said he is "not afraid" Good man.

Some of the attacking fluidity was great. Even if there's still negatives, there's at least a positive already.

Royal doesn’t track runners, he is clearly a winger that someone has got to play further back in the past and asked to defend.

I would agree with whoever said Reguilon was worse tonight, the bloke kept giving the ball away time and again, it was infuriating

The big positive for me was in the last 20 minutes of that match. He had played like a drunken sailor up to that point, but as soon as Lucas and Son went off he started holding the ball up, drawing fouls and ultimately got their defender sent off. The fight hasn’t gone from him.

Emerson usually very good for tracking the winger - maybe it wasn’t his role in the new system?

You have to remember it was the first time we have played with a new formation in years as well. We have played 4 at the back with 3 up top for so long it's not surprising we conceded today.

Romero didn't help himself or the team today. That 2nd yellow was so bad. Hopefully that will give him a kick up the backside because he has done that sort of tackle before. You can't get that tight to your man. You have to win the ball otherwise they will turn you and have no choice but to fall them.

Alot of basic need to be taught to this team like how to make a simple 5 yard pass. Some of these players should be embarassed they cannot even pass the ball.

Anyway the new formation yielded 3 goals and we could have had more. Lloris, Royal, Davies(surprisingly), Son, Lucas(except for the shoddy back pass which lead to their goal) played alright.

He has to find a spot for Ndombele on Sunday. He can't play the same team after we played with 10 men for the majority of tonight. I'm not looking forward to Sunday.
