Just have to admit that they are a better side than us and have been since the Russian pitched up... money talks.

£2.2bn invested in their squad in 18 years it’s inevitable that they’re gonna be better than us in terms of being able to compete for honours. But we’ve beaten Man City for example enough times who are comparable, it’s just a mentality thing with Chelsea.

£2.2 bn propelled them from championshiop to champ league

Nothing like a big game to make our players look average again.

How can you go into any big game starting Dohery, Davies, Winks and Tanganga and expect to win. They are all squad players at best.

Something to do with the depth of the squad. Couldn't be made more clear to that bald caant Levy.

We are a Top6 side. As soon as we play City, Chelsea, Pool, City and Utd (even though they ain’t all that) we look average.
Got to be brutal and think which of our players any Top4 side would want?
Kane, Son
That’s it
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Taking care of the rest isn't a bad thing, I guess it's whether Conte is allowed to bring in the level of player required.
my guess would be no he won't get them

nah if you forfeit you lose 3-0 got to think of the goal difference
A bad night at the office aside your top 4 chances are still in your hands?
Truly dreadful second half. We shouldn't forget we should have taken the lead so who knows how things would have gone after that.
Still a chance of top 4 because our rivals don't look much better. Chelsea have made themselves uncatchable now though.

So bored of the fixture
Haven't really had a look at the Premier league table properly this season. Just see Spurs usually are hovering aroundabout the 7th/8th position, and seemingly miles of the top two or three. Only after the Leicester win did I take a closer look, and see that remarkably despite the Prem season being a bit of write off, Spurs, if they were to win all their games in hand, then they would be within touching distance points of the all conquering Liverpool and Chelsea. How costly could the failure to beat 10 man Southampton be?
Spurs had a very poor September losing three games on the spin, but other than that have been reasonably consistent. Amazing really how constant negativity, myself included, goes to paint a picture that does not really show where Spurs are at. I had them down for 6th at best, but just maybe they can really put it in from now until the end of the season, and prove me and lots of others wrong.
Spurs just maybe are doing a tad better than most of us give them credit for, considering all the upheaval of injuries, managerial changes, the Kane saga etc, etc.
I think I am starting to get my positivity back, performances seem to be improving, so many chances now being created, players that I had written off seem to be rising to the challenge. So maybe Conte is working his magic. Nine Prem games unbeaten, back to back away wins. Just think what two or three new signings could do to this squad.
Amazing what a few weeks can do to football fans, from pessimism to optimism, something to build on going forward. Hopefully get a few of the injured players back, and give the second half of the season a real go.
