Games like this make you reevaluate the squad. Beating a struggling team at the bottom 5-0 is fine but it's in these games you know which players you can really trust.

A narrow loss to United away won't be the result that loses us top 4 to be fair. It's results like those against Burnley and Saints.

I’m really negative usually but I think there more positives as a spurs fan from that than as a United fan

We looked much better than them and got bailed out by Ronaldo

Of course 3 points is 3 points but we played well and there is a long way to go for top 4

Happy enough with the performance.

Thought PEH had a good game.

The difference was Ronaldo.

Both Son and Kane were off it today. Their big player stepped up, ours didn’t.

We have 11 games left and one of those is a trip to Anfield. Still got to play Woolwich, West Ham and Leicester.

Watched Brighton today and they did alright. They will be tough to beat.

Point is once we've lost to Burnley and Saints, we MUST win at Old Trafford.

I would say improved performances are good, but Conte's unlikely to be here more than another year, so it's not like we're building something with a long term manager.

Spurs will win plenty this season, but they are not a top four side with those CBs and full backs. The defence lets the side down time and time again. It is not very good.

I am pisssed off that we couldn't get more and we could have done, but you are dealing with a team that have players who can win a game on their own and Ronaldo showed that today. Not like Burnley or Saints have them.

I still think this is a decent starting line up and would have been good enough to get top 4 had it played from the start but Kulu and Bentancur came in Jan so obviously late to the party. Not sure about Reg though, I'm getting less impressed with him the more time he's spent at Spurs.

Reg seems to be very erratic.
Everything is 100 mile an hour with him.
Zero calmness about him.

It was a decent enough performance in which we were a bit sloppy when it mattered

He doesn't deserve to be backed properly. We could chuck money at him and then he leaves fairly quickly and then we are back at square 1. He is also so overrated in unreal. The sooner fans see this the better. He's so far lead us to 7th place and out of every single cup too. He isn't right for us and deep down we all know it.

Honestly, toy could chuck 300m at him and he may leave at the end of the season, or even mid way. Then we have players who a new manager may not want.

Plus, Conte has shown nothing IMO that warrants us giving him a huge budget. He has been absolutely average as a manager. Iv seen average football, average tactics, average mentality. Yes blame the players, but the manager had brought nothing to the table IMO.

Finally some one gets it

Tough game lads could have gone either way but a true legend stepped up and Maguire wasn’t enough.

Love Conte he will sort you out just need Levi to realise it and you are back in the game especially with the wobble Chelsea will go through, your stadium is magnificent only Levi can hold you back,

It was definitely not a ‘spursy’ performance.

We deserved to get something out of the game.

Son and/or Kane weren’t on it today. Ronaldo was and there was the difference.
