That point could be massive boys. If as expected Arsenal win tomorrow, then we only go 4 points behind rather than 5 points had we lost. We beat them in the NL derby it’s only 1 point behind with 2 games to go. We win our last 2, we would only need them to draw one of their remaining 2 rather than lose it had we been 5 points behind after tomorrow. This potentially is massive.

Double check your maths there Don….

My maths is fine dude. It means we don’t have to rely on goal difference. That’s not guaranteed right now despite our healthy GD. If it plays out like possible and Arsenal lose against us and draw any of their other 3, with us winning our last 3, we finish 1 point above them meaning GD is irrelevant. Had we lost today and this scenario played out, we would both be level on points and would need to rely on goal difference. This point could be a game changer potentially
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Yes but if we beat them and they draw another, they won’t be able to catch us on goal difference anyway. Whichever way you slice it, the draw today is meaningless in the context of our battle with Arsenal. Unless they beat Leeds by seven or eight.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Bristol Rovers won 7-0 today to claim promotion on GD. Never rule anything out mate. Arsenal could win 4-0 tomorrow and 5-0 at home to a potentially safe Everton side last game of the season then what? We are neck and neck. I know unlikely, but i think that point today gives a little peace of mind
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Ordinarily I’d agree but we’re 7 ahead. If we beat them even by one, that’s an 8 goal swing. If we then win our other games, they’d not only have to overhaul the 8 goals, but also outdo whatever we produce to win our final two. I get your point but if we win the games we want to win then there’s no chance of goal difference swinging around
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Well if anything it’s momentum mate. Get smashed by Liverpool, we go into Arsenal on a low. Hard thought battling draw an Anfield we could have won, our players will be very confident turning Arsenal over

Win our last 3 games we do it. Don't and we don't. Simple as that for me. Arsenal won't win their last 4.

Different circumstances though init. Liverpool were desperate to win, Arsenal will be desperate to not lose. It's going to be an ugly game IMO

Kane brilliant for the goal.

I don't blame Hojbjerg who by all accounts had an excellent game, but what an absolute fak up that was at the end.

That’s a very good point. Arsenal will likely try and do to us what we did to Liverpool today. The reason we had the chances we had to say was because Liverpool needed to win. Arsenal don’t need to but I guess that could work in our favour. It’s a bit like defending a narrow lead in a Euro 2 legged game. If you play for the draw it’s a dangerous game to play, particularly as it’s not the Arsenal way. They like to control games these days.

At the end of the day it gets dark. And Spurs put in a proper performance deserving of at least a point. Gotta be ok with that
