He's a knobjockey
He'll still be spouting excuses after ten trophyless years. Fans will only put up with it for so long.
And rangers will be back winning by then
I don't think there was a need for him to name a specific club, to underline his point.
Henrik,
What other club the size of Rangers, liquidated?
What other club the size of Rangers liquidated ------------------------------------------------------------------- Leeds
No - you sure TCD - Mitre says it wis trooooooo
Dill-Weed or whatever his name is doesn't understand the situation. He was talking about transfer fees (making excuses some would say) but it wasn't transfer fees that caused our present situation.
Arsenal are financially cautious, why else were they so desperate to get Pistol Pete on board?
Leeds were quite big back in their day,as were many other clubs i suppose.
Ad Hoops, you are a closet Palace fan.
Henrik,
nah, thats my mum and dads team.
Why you support a different team, if you don't mind me asking, mate?
i was born and grew up in South London, a stones throw from Palace.but my dad worked just around the corner from Loftus road and when i was little i would go to work with him. we would go past QPR on match days and i loved the colours and atmos around the ground.
none of this explains why my dearly loved brother chose the foul and loathesome chelsea though.
both our choices came as a big shock to my mum and dad though, i can tell you.
Thats just modern life TCD, no laughing matter with every one living on credit.
It can all be taken a way in a blink of a eye
The Glasgow Rangers example is something we’ve all got to guard against

so Arsenal didn't settle out of court with HMRC for image rights involving EBT's?
suggest Arsenal stick to what their good at, winning fook all, celebrating top 6 finishes and selling their best players to bigger clubs every summer and not replacing them

the very fact the needed to settle indicating they had abused the EBT's in the first instance?
yeah but nothing like rangers
<whitachoob>
If Rangers had ' settled out of court' they would still exist...they didn't and under Smyth, carried on spending.
Say: " thanks for trophies and liquidating us, Walter"

if rangers earned a ridiculous amount from Sky then they could have settled out of court, not to forget that we are still to proven guilty of anything other than owing PAYE & NI a sum in the region of £11m?
the reality is arsenal got caught with their pants down, didn't want the negative publicity and due to the league they participate in were able to settle a bill beilieved to be in the region of £50m!
