yeah still got Pugh you're right who's solid IMO! Nothing spectacular indeed but does what he has to! Was good to see him whack a few Reading players at the end of last season
Yet he gets transfer listed and Brown gets a new contract!
Well you know Warnock knew he had little funds! Therefore he thought he'd get more £ out of Pugh transfer than out of a Brown transfer
I guess he thought wrong then!!
I have no idea why people think Pugh is anywhere near championship standard. We've had him twice, once when he was near his peak and once when he's winding down from it and neither times has he looked like a player capable of anything more than our youngsters. It's not even like he's Andy Hughes, who'd run himself into the ground even if he couldn't pass a ball straight or time a tackle!
Glad he's transfer listed. Consign him to the pages in the history books alongside Jason Crowe, Neil Collins and Lubo Michalik.
Pugh got played at lb and lw. Give him a chance a cm, he may play better under warnock
Crowe, was gd in lg 1 played jan 3rd collins was better than any of our defenders at time, hed axtually win headers.
if i remember correwctly crowe made a spectacular off the line clearance against rooney on january the 3rd
