Get back in Real's shadow, there's a good boy
Pistolero, Iniesta plays for your club, pipe down.
Iniesta UEFA best europe player
Dons coming from the Wimbledon conection!
Pistolero - look. I'm trying to be polite, you obviously know nothing about Chelsea or our history so it would be the wise thing to do and not speculate!
On the other hand you could be the biggest WUM since Obers pulled 'The Obertan' off!
Tommy, I presume someone has wound you up about Abramovich on this thread, hence you likening the role he played at Chelsea to that of Norris at Arsenal.
Big difference being that one happened eight years ago, the other eighty years ago.
Bravo to you though if you're still miffed about how Norris transformed Arsenal and scuppered Chelsea's bid to become London's top club.
Nobody know much about Chelsea history BrummieBlue because small club, see
Even most Chelsea fan not know much
"Big difference being that one happened eight years ago, the other eighty years ago."
Right so now your taking the "it was eight years ago so it didn't happen" stance.
The fact is it did and he saved you from possibly going out of buisness
Iniesta UEFA best europe player
...
As if it was deserved
"More than a club"
you sound like a tottenham fan
The suggestion that the biggest fluke in CL history makes Chelsea bigger than Arsenal is laughable. Stick to debating that garbage with insecure Spurs fans (they're a bigger club than Chelsea as well and I certainly respect their accomplishments more).
No not at all, Tommy. I'm taking the, "it's been this way since way before of us were born, compared to something that happened relatively recently within all our lifetimes" stance.
Eden you have manage to create mutiny among the Chelsea and Arsenal fans here
Regarding the article, my car is better than your car.
For every fan his club is biggest but if you talking about books than there are more books in Emirates shelf than Chelsea
Iniesta not deserve UEFA best player similar then Chelsea not deserve Champion League title
But see, this is point, league title more difficult to win. This why when Arsenal win many title over many decade then big club. Chelsea not do same so only young Chelsea fan say big club

you lot fluked your way to the final in 2006.
Arsenal
Can't even win the competition with luck on their side
Iniesta not deserve UEFA best player
....
we'll get along now.
Lex, be fair to Tommy, it's not a case of being miffed about anything, it's a part of history an one that some Arsenal fans try to overlook. Eight years or Eighty years, it makes no difference, those were the formative years of Arsenal and with out that they would not be the club they are today - it's an inescapable fact. That saying I wouldn't use it to de-mean Arsenal as the club they are today.
Both Clubs were similar in stature years ago but I'm quite happy to admit that Arsenal extended as a club, in the Twenty years we spent almost in division Three, and are bigger than us in terms of the fan base you developed in that time - thats a natural evolution.
Interesting question. If you can win the league/CL again this year, then I would say so.

In the context of the time, Norris' investment in Arsenal is nothing near the scale of the filthy Russian money propping up Chelsea. The kind of obscene money Oligarchs blow about these days were unheard of at the time.

Both owner's of the respective club's pumped serious money in that helped take both club's the next level.
The fact that yours happened nearly 100 years ago is why your honours list look much better than they do now and im sure in 100 years time the next generation of Tottenham fans won't hesitate to remind our next generation about Abramovic when it's their turn to have the rich owner.
Big Club Arsenal ...can't even hold their star players
ripping fans of their pockets
built a massive library.
Ambition wise - Top 4 is enough.
See again "Champions of Europe" to ignore all history of titles when talk about big club. This is young Chelsea fan, not know football.
