Lloris is nothing special tbh, Spurs are his level.
If he stayed at Lyon he probably wouldnt win anything with PSG around
But, he is French no.1 right? Looks like he is gonna lose this as well if he keeps warming the sprus' bench.

I actually think De Gea is better.
Found it an odd signing by Spurs, money could've been better spent where they needed it.
Thought Friedel had a good year last year, always though Lloris was a bit of a flapper.
Maf he won't warm the bench. Lloris is a Levy signing whereas Friedel was a 'Arry signing, he will want him to play.
They could have asked Chelsea or Arsenal for help in that department
That extra money could have gone towards signing Moutinho.
I doubt it was AVB's idea to sign another keeper, he clearly (and rightly so) rates Friedle, Gomes and Cudacini and perfectly good number 2 keepers.
Levy is to blame for Spurs fans. He appears to have ruined any chance of top 4 leaving transfers so late and just taking whoever was a bargain at the time without thinking of where they fit in.
AVB is such a clown. He's meant to welcome new signings. The ginger mon.go has gone and upset him within a few days.

What did they win in the previous season?
I don't think he's a bad stopper but I rate Mandanda (or is it Mandana?) higher.
It appears first team football was one of the key reasons he settled for a move to spurs.
Spurs have got 4 experienced GKs on huge wages
Gomes, Cudicini, Frediel, Lloris
Levy was foolish for going for Lloris when they could have got Moutinho
Lloris didnt even want to move to Spurs in the first place.
What a career threatening mistake he has done joining Spurs as a bench warmer. Lyon are a Champions League team ( they made 12 Champions League appearances) and there is a chance of him to win something at Lyon than nothing at Spurs. But he prefers to sit on the bench and play on Thursday nights..
---------------------------------------------------
Reports are saying that he didn't know that he'll be a bench warmer and there are already some backlashs with AVB.
Now, it was probably his mistake (or just naive) thinking that he'll be straight away a starter!
Mafia,
What happened to your statement where you said Spurs would never sign a goalkeeper under 37?

Jussi Jääskeläinen = 37 years old.
Hugo Lloris = 25 years old.
Lloris didn't want to join Spurs in the first place. He expected bigger clubs to come in for him, and when this didn't happen he was left with having to join Spurs or backtrack and stay at Lyon.
He obviously doesn't expect to be hanging around Spurs for long.
Don't understand why clubs haven't gone in for Steve Mandanda he's much more commanding than Lloris
The thing with GKs and shot stopping is that short GKs make saves look better than taller GKs because they don't have to dive full length etc
Lloris is like Given because they are short when they make a save everyone wows about them when it's a routine save for taller GKs
Chicken, yeah. I wish Arsenal had just spent a small fortune on a dodgy keeper who is already unhappy at the club!

£8m (rising to £11m) is not a small fortune for a keeper who is widely known as the 2nd best keeper in the world. Its a bargain, and you know it.
who is widely known as the 2nd best keeper in the world.

He isn't even the 2nd best at Spurs.
If he is 2nd best, who is the best?
£8 million is a small fortune for a keeper. Would put him in the top ten I think.

Who are the top 2 at Spurs then?
Friedel, Gomes and Cudicini are all better than Lloris.
So who is the best keeper in the world ahead of 2nd best Lloris, or have you realised that there are too many candidates and if you chose 1 it will be easy to pick apart your opinion.
