Who should take our Free Kicks

Knockaert scored a pretty good freekick against burton, but i think i'd still stick with Ben Marshall.

Konchesky is also pretty handy in dead ball situations but for me it's Marshall>Knockaert>Konchesky>Drinkwater. having said that i think Marshall and Knockaert could easily leapfrog one another in my estimates.

Still, not a bad bunch to pich from for freekicks

Good shout about Knockaert, mind you after the Blackpool game our corner takers need more practice....

I think we've had this problem since Steve Guppy

Marshall and knockaert are looking pretty handy from free kicks though

I'm inclined to agree with Marshall for right-footed strikes and Knockaert for left-footed. I'm not at all keen on Konchesky taking them as they rarely look threatening to me, while Drinkwater isn't really a striker of the ball.

I've wondered for years whether Andy King would have a go as he can shoot from distance (and doesn't try it enough IMO). However, he's never shown any interest in taking free kicks for as long as he's been here.

From what I’ve seen Marshall should definitely be the free kick taker. Konchesky is a more hit hard and hope merchant and has nothing like Marshall’s quality of delivery. Drinkwater might be an alternative along with Knockaert. Obviously if Gally is on the pitch then he and Marshall can fight it out at the time.

Our keeper seems to take most of our free kicks!!!

Gallagher > Marshall > Knockaert > Konchesky > Drinkwater

I think Marshalls penalties are a bit iffy. He seems to hit and hope whereas Gallagher always looked a lot more confident and you could always tell he was going to score.

Blackpool, Marshall has only taken one penalty that was well struck and well placed. He's got 100% record so far. If he is our outfield deadball specialist, surely he has to take penalties. No doubt he'll miss some, but I've every confidence in him.
