Brad has done a stand up job. He is number one regardless of who we signed. Dropping him straight away is ridiculous. Lloris can wait his turn as far as I'm concerned, he plays every cup game and has to break into the team.

No sorry, can't agree with this. I agree that Brad has done a stand up job but he has had his day and it is time to draft in our new keeper who will be the number 1 for years to come. We have finally bought a world class keeper and you want to upset him already? Let's be honest here, if Brad didn't have such a good game v Norwich i guarantee everyone on here would be begging for Lloris to play.Friedal won't have games like that every week so let's get that straight. Lloris is the one and he needs to be number 1 from now on.

Yeah I agree with don, sooner the better why p.issue off a world class keeper and risk him wanting out so soon

Lloris will have his debut next Thursday in the Europa, then will play again the following week in the League cup.
Within a month he'll be first choice. Job done.
Everyone needs to calm down.

I said that a week ago philspurs, I'd be happy with that, just the media potentially ruining things. He'll be number one just a question of how long.

MouDemBale - to be fair, I probably stole it off you then!
But it does seem to make sense, it's just the media and some Spurs & rival fans getting things all out of perspective.
Hope not galv, hope he's more professional than that.

Doubt it Philspurs, don't think I say anything worth stealing
But seriously I'd be more than happy for lloris if he started our next prem game, but if we have to want to see him in a cup match first then so be it, just don't want the media etc to ruin things.

Regardless of whether Lloris SHOULD be first choice or not, he's acting like a spoilt child.
Not at the club two weeks and he wants 'showdown' talks. What a moron.
That being said, I begrudgingly don't want to alienate the little facker, as we will definitely need him every game come next season.
where did you hear that he wants "showdown" talks?
Guys it comes down to this... we have bought a world class keeper, rated across the world as one of the top 5 keepers.... he arrives at spurs and we tell him to wait his turn... ridiculous.. He is the best keeper we have had in years, whether he has played for us or in England should make no difference, he has played against the best whilst on international duty.. why wait, he should be in there now starting to form an understanding with our back four.
Think I saw it on Sky and some red top yesterday Chronic.
He might not want showdown talks but I'm just amazed there's such a kerfuffle about the whole thing
