It is tactical but even on legendary it just doesn't make sense when Liverpool are pinging the ball around you and Carroll finishes it off with a chip. I think they should make it a bit more team-specific. Barca, Arsenal etc. carve you apart. United, City are hard to break down and hit on the counter. Stoke look to get the crosses in. Would be hard to implement.
Dog you can get off your high horse too.
It doesn't exist, it's all in the mind of people who can't accept losing. BULL$H!T YEAH! GET IT INTO YOUR HEAD! IT'S BULL$H!T!

I win because of handicap when I shouldn't too.
It also depends what you want out of the game. I am after a 'football simulation' and manager mode and head-to-head seasons on FIFA are great for that.
I have a friend who has never played or watched football but plays UT for the trading and skilling.

High horse? I'm just not deluded enough to believe in some bullcrap theory like the handicap.
Andrei, the AI in FIFA is also a problem I have with the game. Playing the AI is just so frustrating that I can't play offline game modes (sim Career Mode) and that's where FIFA must improve.

I think they're getting close to that now. I found playing a career mode from league 2 to the Premiership on legendary that the lower league teams even on legendary make more mistakes and their passing isn't as crisp. Hopefully they've built on that.
However, there is no handicap/scripting etc.
PES > FIFA. Ronaldo > Messi. Labtops > MacBooks. Etc.
But it's not bullcrap.
Agreed GMW. I can't play too many games in a row offline without becoming bored. Don't think I'd get bored as quickly against PES AI.

International qualifiers and tournaments have been added to 'Career Mode' this year in FIFA.

I think that could be different this year. With highly rated players being more effective because of first touch control and mental attributes having more of an impact than physical ones, teams like Stoke will be less able to keep the ball.
Am I the only person that enjoys playing against the AI on FIFA?
FIFA is good arcade game but PES has the better gameplay for sure.
The gameplay is very realistic in PES2012: Blackburn play like Blackburn not Barcelona. In FIFA, David Dunn is passing like Xavi

Yeah, that's great we can play the World Cup with 16 teams. And qualifiers with 5 teams per group, great stuff.
No scripting, sort of momentum which works at times, doesn't at others, definite handicap. In my opinion. You are all entitled to yours I guess.
Yeah, AI is poor at time but I rarely play offline. On FIFA 12 every team seemed to play possession at high difficulties and I found it hard to get the ball off them, not very personalised styles or whatever you want to call them.

No, but I get bored of it far more than I'd like to.
If you are buying PES because of better AI, fair enough. But what about online gaming? It is a completely different experience to offline.
