Gerrard's Finished

Gerrard, and Johnson, were by some distance, England's best players
Lampard did very little in the game, until the penalty kick.
Im assuming that most people on this forum are above the age of 10 or 12, and yet they seem incapable of watching a football match objectively, without their little stomachs churning with dislike for certain players, and in turn, totally ignoring any contribution from a player they may dislike.
Truly pathetic stuff.

Yes these players should also feature in the future

Gerrard gives the ball away too cheaply, and is a liability when the opposition have it.

The thread had nothing to do with his sending off either, I posted it beforehand .

Liability when the opposition have it? Be specific.

Did he play well tonight - not his best. But definitely not the worst midfield on the pitch tonight.

Its your opinion I guess

Players form goes up and down ffs. Gerrard's class, and as a United fan I'm happy to say that. I rate Johnson highly too.

Where have these two arbiters of football talent just crawled out of?

No idea but I wish they would hibernate so we can have exciting debates again!

Gerrard was one of England's better players last night, which I find rather annoying bearing in mind how awful he was against Arsenal. It's supposed to be the other way around!

'Liability when the opposition have it - Be specific'

Moses could only dream of leaving gaps through the middle so frequently.
