I've never been able to take Reo-Coker seriously since someone christened him 'Nigel Mediocre' a few years ago. Goal.com is a notoriously spurious source too.

The Suarez link is looking pretty credible though.

The Reo-Coker link is from Sky Sports the Suarez link is from Goal.com not seen anything but the Mirror and The Mail about Suarez that i would buy into to be fair.

I think the Reo-coker rumour is rubbish, we simply don't another CM, if he signs, we will have 6, the absolute maximum is 5 imo.

It could be the case that Sean Davis is not going to recover from his injury and we can't just release him whilst injured so they are running his contract down, Holden's injury could be a longer lay off than we think not October but December and Mark Davies is a very injury prone midfielder. That leaves only Muamba and Pratley as our midfiled so Coyle could be looking to bolster his ranks with a decent solid free transfer in Reo-Coker just my opinion too there, Not saying i'm right but that could be the actual picture.

With respect , when Davies and Holden got injured we were left with Muamba, Cohen, Elmander and Gardner. The results apart from a good performance against and a win against West Ham ( which doesnt really count) were shocking. Davies and Holden are excellent but injury prone and if we are left with Muamba and a n other its curtains. Reo Coker would be an excellent addition

That should have been a good performance against Arsenal. First time on the new board by the way

Players such as Gardener and Taylor can cover CM in the short term in an absolute emergency, both Pratley and Muamba are strong players and aren't injury prone.

Reo-Coker will want a lot of money in wages and sign on feesand tbh hes not better than Mavies, Holden and Pratley.

Id buy him just for his chant

If the deal is right, then I'd be tempted. Good player and a real bonus on a bosman.

Once the injuries all clear up in October & November, we can lose someone in the January Window. Eg Sean Davis or Muamba etc!?

Just a thought here, but if we are going for Reo-Coker could this spell the end for Muamba?

NRC also plays in that defensive role but is a much better all round player than Fabrice is, as is Sean Davis who is set to be back in contention is season.

Just a thought.

I think it will do, no doubt Coyle has shipped out the unneeded players, Taylor could well be next, possibly followed by Muamba next summer if Nigel mediocre signs.

Am I the only one who can see Sean Davis as the huge waste of money he has been and will remain to be? I hope we ship him out, not Muamba.

He has to be fit first, or no one will want him!?

Moses i doubt that Taylor will be here come August to cover centre mid with him being the next big earner to be shown the door by us and to be fair Gardner is flaming awful in centre mid did you see the game against Blackburn he just stood and watched the game pass him by.
Reo Coker is a solid midfielder a bargain really on a bosman and if we can convince him to sign for us over the other clubs after him we are bringing in a very good player so for me with numbers as low as they are i welcome a player like him to our club.

Re0-Coker? Decent shout on a free and if Owen can get the best out of him a solid midfielder.

Jeffren Suarez I'd be very surprised to see at the Reebok unless it's a loan deal. I'd like it to happen as a permanent but he seems to want a 'big' club
