Justice is all thats requested.

If it can't be proved players were paid in a legal manner, surely it stands to reason, questions are raised to the validity of certain competitions. Quality players don't go to Dubai for the quality of tournament...

But I'd bet the Sheiks can prove they are paid in a legitimate manner...

Fantastic memories of a beautiful day.

Never watched the video.

I'll never forget that day.

Me and my dad went out looking for a car in the morning/afternoon, and were listening to the radio in the car. We got home to and knew we were winning, and so were Celtic. So Celtic had won the league.

Well, we never had Setanta so were relying on SSN, on that day. But Motherwell scored their first goal, and where I am from it's a pretty big Bluenose area, all we heard was the roar. Then of course a few seconds later it comes across, Motherwell 1 - Celtic 1, and as that happened, all we heard was another roar, so we waited, and then, there it was Motherwell 2 - Celtic 1

It was almost surreal. I must admit.

Dado as well.

He had only one season, yet you could see the guys passion.

As much as they like, they will never take my memories.

If guilty they will just be voided for that year.

I don't want Celtic taking them.

No wum, but they are tainted, or maligned. We never won them so we could never be certain. But at the same time, if guilty, RFC never paid for them.

You can keep your memories but the glory will be shallow at best

Your very own manager has been caught trying to avoid paying tax in a scheme....do you believe he is a cheat within society

Boring Kants. Still spouting their same old cheats pash. Which is exactly the reason why Charlie Green will not attend the kangaroo court to legitimise it. The Esh-pee-ell have already made their decision and are playing out their little game in public to try and make it look like they ate going through a process. When they decide to inform us they've found Rangers guilty be sure that this will end up in a court of law

Pointy

It depends on the punishment. I'm the same way Rangers went to court over the 12 month transfer embargo.

If this wee kangaroo court try to remove titles from rangers on the basis of their flawedproceedings then Rangers will challenge the legality if the decision ina court of law

Simple as that. Remember Charles Green has already pointed out in his statement very relevant inconsistencies that could form part of any legal challenge...

"...'Furthermore, we ask the question genuinely. Why did the football authorities do nothing to address an issue that was public knowledge for at least two years, and was reported in the Club's accounts for several years, before the Club went into administration and was subsequently taken over by new owners? HMRC contacted the SPL regarding EBT matters in October 2010, they met to discuss what documentation the Club had lodged with the SPL. Did the SPL launch an investigation? Did they appoint a Commission? Did they ask to see EBT correspondence? Did they ask any questions at all? No. They did absolutely nothing.

'What compounds the breathtaking hypocrisy of the SPL in this whole saga, is that the SFA, the SPL and us - as the new owners - took part in numerous discussions regarding the new company's league status during which it was made clear that a deal was there to be done where 'the EBT issue' would be dealt with as part of a package of sanctions which would be implemented in return for membership of the SFA and a place in either the SPL or Division One. We do not accept that people who are willing to come to an agreement on such matters then have a right to instigate a full blown inquisition when matters do not unfold as they thought they would. ...."

Pointy because their stance has not been consistent when you read that excerpt of Greens statement. Or the statement in full. The basis for the investigation is flawed and full of holes. These can't be challenged properly under the SPLs own tribunal as it is not subject to the laws of the land. But any decision they take can be challenged on the legality of it and the evidence on which that decision was taken.

"You can't handle the truth"

"Why did the football authorities do nothing to address an issue that was public knowledge for at least two years, and was reported in the Club's accounts for several years"

The real question is "why did Rangers do nothing"?

Therefore there are several questions/answers here;

1) Just because chico says it was "public knowledge" does not necessarily make it so. The much maligned (by head burying Rangers fans) Phil Mac and RTC (and others) were certainly trying to make it known, but were being hampered and harassed by the Main Steam Media Muppets (Traynor, Keevins etc) who were too busy living off the crumbs of succulent lamb that fell from SDMs ever more grubby table. Depends on which "public" you are reffering to.

2) Rangers fans had dug their head in the sand and refused to believe what was apparent to everyone outside of Ibrox and Hampden.

3) The EBTs were ofcourse reported in Rangers accounts, but were the second contracts? No! The issue between the SPL and Rangers is not in relation to the EBTs, it is solely in relation to second contracts. The SPL have no remit in regards to tax avoidance, they do however have a duty to investigate whether any team has circumvented the rules and paid players outwith those rules.

4) The SFA have recently been controlled by ex Rangers Directors (Smith and Ogilvie) who have instilled a culture of "investigate Rangers at your peril".

5) The SFA, until recently, have believed that clubs would act in an honourable manner and not lie through false documentation or breach of trust. This has obviously changed since Rangers have been found guilty on several counts of both offences.

6) To investigate malfeasance of this magnitude requires the not inconsiderable skills of forensic accountants. BDO, who will be in place soon, will perform this task. Hopefully they will be able to tell ex shareholders and those owed money by the previous regime why they lost everything or were not paid for services.

Perhaps those forensic accountants will also be able to explain why, amongst other things, Souness was paid 30k ten years after he left the club and the face painter/ florist/newsagent etc were not paid monies owed.

Who knows if any of this will come to pass, but one thing is for sure, chico has more gall than Biarritz.

I think the bears "cant handle the truth" hence the heads buried mentallity that saw the kerrydale accountants mocked at every turn, only to be proven right in the end.
