How has this turned into an argument about a Liverpool player, let us rejoice in the success of Arsenal,, Huzzah!
Any youth team English players at the moment people know of, that akpom looms a player and a half!
I wouldn't say he's had 4 very good games. He's been solid but he doesn't look England quality

he has been playing better than johnson and walker though this season.

Being England quality isn't exactly difficult...
"Sterling is just another Walcott. Don't see the fuss."
No, he has more about him than a younger Walcott did, he seems to have a lot more tricks in his locker. Like getting past his player when there isn't loads of space to run into.
Sterling is like the younger version of the Ox
Sterling is nothing special. Just another English player with pace.
Pace people mistake for close control and skill, thus being mistaken for the new Messi.
"he has been playing better than johnson and walker though this season."
I wouldn't know about Johnson or Walker's performances really but if Jenkinson continues playing for us, and well, he could well get an England call up. I'm not sure about him really, I still don't feel too confident in him.

Yeah I'd go along with this.

he has played better than them, so surely, if sterling deserves to be called up, so does jenkinson?
sterling is talented, but he doesnt deserve a call up over the wingers that have been playing well at a high level for 1-10 years. just like the ox doesnt.
I think Sterling is brilliant. He's got it all. Good pace, good technic and put effort in it.
Please do not overplay him.
sterling has real talent, just because he plays for liverpool doesn't mean we need to degrade him.
Also why the rush for Gibbs to play for England, just another way for him to get injured. His time will come.
If Jenk can play for Arsenal he can play for England...eventually but right now no way.
Why there is prestige playiing for your country there are also injuries...and the media.
Excellent article. 5 stars.
Add Wilshere in the mix for Ramsey and we could have a England team that could actually win something.
Arteta, Woj and Sagna have lived in the UK long enough to claim British citzenship so they also count as British players
I like the look of Sterling. He still has some developing to do and he could stall, just as Ramsey did after his leg was broken.
I'm not sure what to make of Walcott now. I've always been one of his biggest supporters but he just seems to be missing something and hasn't improved as much as I'd like
