Munich v Malmo for the European cup....Madrid for the same... loads of other places with Sir Brian including Old Trqafford for a 4-0 win... most of the 42 match unbeaten run, Ajax away semi final EC... countlesss other European games at home .....

If you lot REALLY believe this then why when TV programs you look back at videos of Brian Clough and say he won "the MOST prized competition in club football TWICE"

Also if Brian REALLY believed it himself why did he go on record (after Ferguson won the League title for gods knows how many times) as saying something like "I still have TWO of what he's NOT got and I don't mean balls"

Talk about us living in the past, what was it 1974, when you last won anything.

Life is full of memories. I was 2 years old when Derby last won something. I can't remember that. I CAN however remember looking for my dad in the crowd at TWO European cup finals (which we won), I can remember watching Forest win the League Cup twice, I CAN remember going to Wembley on a number of occasions and watching them lift the League Cup and the lesser cups of ZDS (and whatever else it was called) when the big teams played their best 11. I can remember winning the league to get promoted back to the PL, I can remember finishing 3rd the subsequent season, I can remember watching the likes of Bayern Munich and Auxerre both home and away. What ever has happened has happened since then but TODAY we are still a better side and our past is still better than yours and not as distant either.

Ilk....how many Silver star's are there on the Sheeps shirt? Yep thought so? Sheep fans are always crying....why couldn't Cloughie stay with them and win the Euro Cups with instead of us..........Live with it!!!! We had 18 years with God.....enough said

Is this a article on the Forest board posted by a Derby fan about the past? Because we seem to get a few of these just before they go on about how we live in the past over and over and over again.

I'm sure they mention that we won the European cup a lot more than we do.

Twice sutton... there was no Rail Madrid in our day, but we knocked out the then European Champions in the first round. However, because we beat Malmo and Hamburg (who had Kevin "I'd just love it" Keegan in their side it was not seen as big as an achievement than Derby flurry to the semis a few years before.

JA606 have stopped me from tagging 2 teams to a post, why do they do this, i never put anything nasty, just a bit of banter, which we all want before our biggest game coming up in 14 days!!
