He'd suit any style of play, and i would welcome him back in the blink of an eye. Love this guy and i still stand firm that he is the only manager that could ever build a legacy with us e.g. a 10 year + manager
You'll find it very hard to find a Chelsea fan who wouldn't want him back in my opinion.
Once Alex Ferguson retires, I don't think there is a club in the world who would turn him down as there manager, could even argue it with Fergie still here!
I would if only for his off field antics.

JustMatt . I remember something else as well where he was like " Sometimes in football you get good eggs and bad eggs, if you want the good eggs you have to pay big money, if you pay small money you get the bad eggs, you need good eggs to make a omlette "
He was just a brilliant character.
We haven't had a manager with his charisma since...
His interviews and celebrations still crack me up!
please come back one day Jose
I seem to be daring to hope every time we sack a manager
say 'thank you but we've moved on'

This.
And when he gestured to everyone to keep our chins up when we lost the league in 07 as well.
Guy just breeded confidence, he celebrated and acted like he was the club, and a fan. He turned players into world class players
I still always want the team he is managing to win as well apart from vs bayern last season as i didn't want to face Madrid in the final as it would have been horrible and awkard in every possible way for all parties

Exactly the same as me. When AVB was sacked and RDM was caretaker (before we beat Barca), Mourinho was second or third favourite for the job. I got excited.
Oscar - me too. I support Madrid just because of him.
Would anyone else want to give Steve Clarke a chance at some point? if he gets West Brom to consistently mid table for a couple of years i think he will be in line for a big job
I'd have him back tomorrow. That aside I'd rather give RDM the chance he deserves. I can't see RDM persevering with the 4-2-3-1 much longer, we have to play 4-3-3 or 4-1-4-1 with the players we now have
Would take Jose back any day
The question is, if Jose came back would he bench Frank?
He'll bench Frank if we have better players then him in his position. If we don't then he'll just have to get the best out of Lampard
Pretty fickle response in general on this Article really, considering RDM did what Jose never could do, win Chelsea the CL, have you all forgotten what RDM has done for you already?

Gangnam Style, none of us have forgotten RDM's achievements, Munich was one of the greatest nights of my life. But this will not change the fact that Mourinho is still the most important manager in our recent history. I think you fail to grasp just how much he is loved by Chelsea fans
Hard to build anything lasting? the core of his team has still yet to be fully replaced

hmm i'd say with us he instilled that insatiable drive to win into the 4 major players who would push the team forward (Cech, JT, Lamps and Drogba). He really did change the culture at our club more so than he seemed to at his other clubs, maybe because he was Romans first manager to be part of his "revolution". I do think we prove that Jose can have a long term effect at a club
100% yes I'd take Jose back. He fits the club like a glove. The players would instantly fall in love with him. I think he'd get rid of Torres asap. I also think he'd sort Sturridge out. He's not stupid like Balotelli .He just needs guidance. Not sure what he'd do with Lampard. Id think he'd bench him. Play him sparingly. He might be loyal to his players but he wants to win aswell. He'd play a team to win. Not to satisfy players egos.
