he just never does.
he wont start now at age 41 !
you are almost as old as him, Sandy
Love the guy and equally love his attitude but it's about time he steps aside and Lloris comes in as number 1. Brad Friedal breathing down Lloris back will keep him on his toes but for me Lloris has to start against Lazio and QPR, then claim the number 1 spot.
chronic, you see AVB'S celebrations for our 2nd and 3rd goals? Love his passion mate.

Yes she's good raptor just booked mexico up for next may, going with the misses and friends. Can't wait
I think it's up to AVB now, weather he wants to be a good boss or a successfull one.
As a manager, sometimes u have to take tough decisions looking at the long term.
Friedel is a very good keeper and an even better bloke.
But sometimes looking at the long term, u have to make decisions which may not make u the most liked person in dressing room but will go a long way in making u an astute manager.
At ManUtd, RVN was a -ve influence on Rooney and Ronaldo(who at that time were average), but SAF decided to let RVN go.
Similarly, AVB needs to give lloris a chance as he is younger and has a higher cieling point than Friedel quality wise.
Friedel is a very level headed man and m sure he wud understand the reasons, and if not happy there certainly would be a PL club making a bid for him in Jan.

To be fair Brad has not made any major errors, so deserves his place at the moment. Lloris is long term, and I am sure he will get plenty of game time. It`s the other two goalies Cudicini and Gomes, just cannot see them getting a game.

Sorry, we have to put sentiment aside. I think that King played about 10 games more than he should have last season.
Brad has been great, but even last season we were calling for us to buy another top goalkeeper. WE now have one of the Top 5 goalies in the world.......................put him in the team!
When Gomes first came into the team he used to come for everything until he got a shirt full of slack ribs !!
I remember Pat Jennings catching the ball one handed and you cannot get some keepers these days to catch with two hands.
Years ago people like Joe Jordan would terrorise keepers and referees are far more sympathetic to keepers in the modern era.
Obstruction is a big thing these days with opposition players sitting on the GK feet at corners to deny them the opportunity to come out so we need a keeper who will elbow a few centre forwards in the swede !!
Don I'm looking at Mexico for honeymoon next march, but missus likes the idea of Cuba or Aruba!
MouDemBale (VanDerBale)
Both Aruba & Cuba are much better than Mexico.........................and safer too!!
Although you should be relatively safe in certain resorts in Mexico, I think overall either of the other two are much better & fantastic places to go!
Cheers genius what would you choose Aruba or Cuba? I've heard that going out in Cuba is hard to find anything to do? Like eating out, although we will get all inclusive as most of the hotels have at least 5 different restaurants. Also was told Havana was a bit poverty stricken? I would just like fantastic beaches/sun/sea with a bit of culture if we want it
He's past 40 and conserving energy

I have not heard this about Mexico to be fair mate, all i have heard is positives to come from it and if you are staying at a top class hotel then you got no problems. We are staying in Riviera Maya which is outside of Cancun so nice and quiet to be away from it all but not to far if we want to go for a big heavy night or clubbing.

And also Riviera Maya for Mexico I've got the option to stay at Havanna for 3 days and the rest of the holiday at Veradero or Hougin, so it might be a good option, think it will have to be Cuba
Sorry that might be a bit confusing to read! hope you understand it, typing in a bit of a hurry ok
I went to Mexico for my mates wedding. We were in a 5* resort all inclusive, we went out for excursions and nights out but it was all a good laugh. People seems to be very friendly. We were in Dreams resort in Tulum. Few of my mates stayed in the Dreams in Cancun, they said the resort was brilliant as well.
Cuba and Aruba is on my to go list. Apparently Dominican Republic is also very good.
