There's no definite about it Benny. I don't think anyone in the club explicity said that we were in for Vertonghen.

Personally, i'm dissappointed that we weren't in for him. He's a very good player and would have made our squad stronger. Only time will tell how the squads will progress, but i'm glad with our current defence.

Basically when your team buys a player, you think he's world class. In this case you didn't sign him, so you do question whether or not he's actually any good.
