The boy has made a huge mistake.

What club is even going to give him the time of day if he doesn't turn up too meetings with one of the biggest clubs in the world!

Hope that kid enjoys mediocrity.

"Arsenal have closed the door on their attempts to sign Costa Rican striker Joel Campbell, after neither the player or his father failed to turn up to a scheduled meeting last night."

Neither of them failed to turn up? Do we only sign people who do fail to turn up? No wonder we're so slow in the transfer market.

What **** writing.

If NEITHER of them FAILED to turn up, that means they did turn up.

Hah obviously the blogger does not hold a real journo day job with those grammatical faux pas!

But this Richard Law character doe not seem very good at his job really does he? Can't even tie up 1 of 2 contracts! Lost both Alvarez and Campbell! does he use deodorant and have a shave before he meets them?

It's not the most convincing article in the world really.

I doubt it, it looks like the deal is dead according to the article below.

The president of his current club does not seem impressed with the Campbells.
The dad said that he prefers to wait until the end of the world cup tournament to decide his future.

I hope he has a poor tournament and no one bids for him!!

Seems His father is controlling where he goes lol

The presdient seemed quite sad but with the under 20s coming up maybe if he impresses will get a bigger contract elsewhere.

Shame but it was very unlikely a WP would come

Not something to lose sleep over

Ricky alvarez on the otherhand was a blow and more importantly he had an italian passport so he could have moved easily to us!
