everyone of them points is what we witnessed for a few years. no energy or motivation, players constantly played out of position and chopping and changing of team on a weekly basis, and hasnt a clue how to make a substitution whether its to defend a lead or chase one. tactically inept. so good to have a good manager now

I at times wondered why so many TOWN players looked, or seemed miserable & sulky, even unwilling !

I think his team selection this week was a little strange but even so to lose 5-0 is a reflection on the attitude of the players too IMO.
I hope when the owner situation is sorted, the new owners will bring in their own man and things will pick-up again...
I don't know what kind of contract Clark has, but it would be real kick in the teeth having to pay him off just to get rid of his utter utter carpness. Nice little earner for him though.
maybe he should have put Mullins at left back when Murphy was injured ,after all he won a FA Cup final winners medal playing against Chelsea two years ago playing in that position,and put Spector at right back but then Spector had won our best player award for august playing in midfield , funny old game aint it .kro..
It's always good to give a new manager time. However, as a Barnsley fan who was in the away on end on Saturday, I can safely say I have never witnessed such an appalling performance by a home team. Your players looked clueless, disinterested, and the state of the defending for our first 2 goals The guy clearly does not know how to motivate a team properly, and is living off the back of an unbeaten run with 'Udders most of which I believe involved draws and culminated in a bottle-job of epic proportions in the promotion deciding game. I know you haven't two pennies to rub together (and believe me Barnsley supporters can empathise with you on that on), an owner who will probably end up in jail (or is he already?) and falling attendances, but Clark does not look like he has it in him to turn around the shambles he put out against us. I sincerely hope things improve for you, and now I've piped up you will probably bum us into a coma at Oakwell (again), but I don't think Clark is the man to take you forward. Good luck for the rest of the season
