so am i, chievo keeper has been unbelievable
he's playing like Obi Mikel.
He wouldn't have suited the prem, his game is patient and at times slow. No time for that here
not a great loss for us.though he looks happier.
you can kid yourselves all you want but this guy looked like a real player
he left for a better club

I saw him play at man utd and he seemed to immobile if you know what I mean. Can he turn better tese days. He seemed to have long strides but look to pass safe.

Carrick can look immobile at times and he is our best CM.
carrick can run when he wants but saf wants him to be our defensive midfielder to shield our defence. I saw his qpr and galatasaray goal which shows if he wants he can move.
pogba and powell seem similar ability.
I can't believe the self-deception in which some of our fans have plunged. Losing Pogba was one of Fergie's biggest mistakes. End of the story.
how was it, its not like pogba played regularly. cleverly did ok. we let gibson go. Hes only played once for juventus today.
Whether he is one of Fergie's biggest mistakes remains to be seen but if you ever watched any of the reserves you could tell he was a cut above most of them.

yea, losing a player that played, what, 70 mins of 1st team football is one of his biggest mistakes?
A player that listened to his agent over the best manager in the world?
The reserves standard is low.... people need to realise that.... It doesn't mean that superstars wont emerge from it, but it also doesn't mean that if you do well in the reserve, you will be a superstar.
a shame that he didnt stay with us.

Bebe also looked superb in the reserves and Fabio in defensive midfield looked like the second coming of Keane. It's not a great standard of football
Would have been the back up for Carrick we desperately need and will eventually pay £15m+ to buy anyway.

yes that may be true to an extent but it is no excuse to right off all those players who excel in the reserves, and we at united should be trying to keep ahold of our most promising players, fergie himself wanted pogba to stay so he was clearly highly thought of.
Listen, we offered him a good contract, he was talked up by SAF (when does SAF ever do that about some disgruntled 18 year old?).
The club did what they could, including giving him as much game time as he probably deserved at the time, taking into account we were in a title race.
He made his choice, it wasn't not SAF kicking him out the door.
Tunnicliffe, Petrucci and now Powell are all on a similar level and actually want to play for the club...

Christ. Tunnicliffe couldn't hack the championship and Petrucci hasn't even played a PL game, Pogba is performing for Juventus, BIG difference.
Powell looks a talent, of course, I am excited for the lad.

What can you do if he gets it into his head that he's too big for reserve football and he's not ready for the first team? He was offered a contract and chose to leave to sit on a bench in italy for the most part. If he becomes world class then we can say we should have tried harder to keep him, as it is now it's no huge loss.

If he couldn't hack the championship why did they give him so many games?
He wasn't an automatic starter and he was average at best by all accounts. He only got about 15 starts and isn't even on the fringe on the England under 21's and was never selected for the 19's.
He will not be at OT in 2 years.
Why would they have extended his loan if he was average? When has being part of the england set up been the mark of a decent player?
