no way

great now we bought kagawa though. strength in depth tested now. rvp can replace rooney and be as effective. kagawa can be an additional winger type midfield attack player. Shows you though our squad is stronger then last year.

Disaster if its true, Nani would be our only fit winger.. will have to play Kagawa or Welbeck there, Valencia has been in poor form lately though.

Valencia’s right foot is in a protective boot while United’s medical staff continue to assess the injury he suffered in Sunday’s victory at Liverpool.

The winger is understood to have been hurt winning the penalty which decided the game at Anfield, even though Liverpool’s Glen Johnson accused him of diving.
..................................
shows you that valencia didn't expect anyone to take him from behind. It makes me laugh liverpool fans make it out like it was nothing, it was as stonewall penalty as you see.

Jesus our whole team is made of glass

I blame RVP

seriously though, this isn't too bad. Now Nani gets a chance on the favored right side and we have one of Kagawa, Welbeck, Buttner to fill the lhs temp.

lol I thought about young as well being injured. I would be interested to see buttner at left wing to. man rooney young valencia injured, is it like last season again lots of injjurys to key players not to forget other injuries.

Could go for a proper 4-3-3. Evra and Raf can provide decent width.

My team would be

----------------De Gea-------------------
Raf - -------Rio--------- Evans--------Evra
Anderson-----Carrick------Cleverley
Welbeck--------Foy-------Van Persie

Nani and Clattenburg for Welbeck and Foy on about 60 minutes

Butter used to play as LW regularly so he can fill in there he looks good going forward. It is very annoying how we get so many injuries good job we have a huge squad, best squad in the league I think

Nani on the rights OK by me. Don't fancy Welbeck one little bit as a winger. Will SAF go Kagawa/Rooney/Nani with RVP up top and 2 holding behind them for Spurs? Might be a bit narrower than usual.

*Buttner

Ok Nani, it's up to you now to remind us how influential you are on your preferred right.

Does this now mean we'll be seeing more if Giggs or will Kagawa be pushed left? Please let it be the later of the two!

Buttner left wing wouldn't be a bad idea since Lennon always plays out of his skin up against Evra, similar to how chelsea have used Cole and Bertrand

Looks like the Nani brigade will get the wish. I really hope he can find some form and consistency.

They're dropping like flies. Hopefully Nani can show us what he is capable of when playing on the right.

As good as Valencia is, his style of play only really works with Welbeck and Rooney up top, as they've got an understanding of how he plays. RVP doesn't look like he's formed one yet.

However, having Nani on the right could benefit RVP and Kagawa a lot, as he seems to suit their style a lot more.

A midfield and attack of:

Carrick Cleverly
Nani Anderson Kagawa
RVP

Or
Carrick Cleverly/Ando
Nani Kagawa/Rooney (interchanging)
RVP

could be very interesting.

He must have hurt it when Glen Johnson scythed him down on Sunday. Terrible challenge.

Not another injury, although im not really surprised. Nani indeed will need to show his influence on the team, and because we are now light on options on the wings im expecting Fergie to select either Giggs or Welbeck or the left side, although i would like to see how Kagawa does on the left.

"Valencia is, his style of play only really works with Welbeck and Rooney up top, as they've got an understanding of how he plays. RVP doesn't look like he's formed one yet. "

How hard is it to understand "runs fast, beats man on outside, crosses ball with right foot".

He's a marvelous player, but you're not going to need to get the blackboard to analyse what he does.

Yes but watch RVP when Valencia gets the ball. He often looks a little lost as he's unaware of where he's gonna put the ball. RVP will come to th near post and Valencia will smash it to the back post And there will be nobody there.

It works better with Welbeck and Rooney as both players get in the box and attack the ball, and seem to read his crosses better than RVP has been doing.

Valencia is a decent crosser, but he needs bodies in the box. If there isn't he rarely picks them out. Not his fault as it's clearly harder to pick out one man, but maybe he shouldn't aimlessly cross it when we can retain possession and build an attack.

Justice? In that case suarez should be sitting in a wheelchair .

For what?
Everyone saw Valencia dive last Sunday. You and I don't really know what happened between Evra and Suarez if it's what you're referring. Don't wish someone bad/injury on something you know very little of.
