Not sure why I cared, but it's interesting.

Do you believe the 28,000 figure btw? I mean to say do you really think all still wish or are on the position to take one up if offered?

of what ? the waiting list? it is FAR higher than that mate. i know people who are around 35,000 in the queue.

the thing is there are two memberships that give you virtually the same thing, but the more expensive version has the place on the ST waiting list, which is why the club describe it as a paying waiting list.

clearly not all would take it up, as they are very expensive. in the new stadium i reckon there would be another 10,000-12,000 season tickets up for grabs.

Perhaps I'm biased but having lived over the last twenty years in Essex, Herts and east, north and west London I can't say I've ever been aware of a significantly larger number of Spurs than West Ham fans.

dunno. spurs fans are everywhere mate.

my school was split down the middle, spurs and arsenal, with a few man u and chelsea... i can remember 1 west ham fan in my year.

my current office is split down the middle, arsenal and spurs, with a handful of chelsea, 3 qpr, and 1 west ham.

i come across the occasional west ham hat or shirt at power league and stuff, and in the street, but again, far more arsenal and spurs.

That said Spurs fans are not geordies, so maybe you don't all where shirts at all times.

Do you think you will fill it every game?

IF we get the OS we (playing at our present level) woule fill it against you, Chelsea, Arsenal and Man U. Pool and Man City also would be ok.

About 45,000 for a midweek game v Stoke.

no we wouldnt fill it every game, but it would sell out for big games and i reckon almost sell out for every other game.

depends on how the team are doing and what the ticket prices are like... they are so high at the moment.

do you really believe that west ham would get 45,000 for a midweek game with stoke?

i think thats very optomistic

The OS will help more midweek because of the transport links. If you have to work next day than getting rid of the hour + wait for a train at Upton Park will make matches much more attractive.

For the majority of our fans who I believe live in Essex, it could mean home by 11 rather than 1.

decent point about transport links.

obviously that remains a problem at the lane but i would like to think that they would be doing something to upgrade the stations that serve the lane.

i walk to the lane so its no issue for myself

I'm certain the present transport chaos keeps people away, moving will help midweek when most fans are on the train. For weekends though loads of people drive at present and parking in Stratford is worse than East Ham.

Imagine driving to a game just before Christmas when Westfield is packed.
