Leeds aren't listed on the stock exchange - but GFH capital are

In a statement released to the Bahraini Stock Exchange, Gulf Finance House said GFH Capital Limited - its Dubai-based subsidiary - had “signed an exclusive agreement to lead and arrange the acquisition of Leeds City Holdings, the parent company of LUFC.”

By law, everything that can effect share price or value of a company has to be announced to stock exchange however it doesn't necessarily mean that something is definitely happening.

wrote that completely wrong, should have said they wouldn't be releasing statements, unless things were serious

Yuuup! You got me there, I'm petrified

As I am sure I've mentioned before, I had relatives in Leeds who I visited regularly in the 1990s, so much so that I went to live there 97-00.

I remember first visiting them in 1983, we drove up on Charity Shield day, listening on the rented car radio as Bryan Robson put
2 past Liverpool. They could see Elland Road from their house in Old Farnley.

So I've always had a soft spot for you lot. Of course it's not quite as soft after living there 3 years and hearing the bitterness and sheer hatred that some of your less intelligent fans have for Man United, but Leeds is always a club I look out for. Not nice what you lot have been put through this last decade, funny, but not nice.

I was actually referring to the credible on-field challenge that serious investment would bring, but have it your own way.

Eddie, yeah I got that, was just explaining my regular excurtions to the Leeds board and why I would love to see you back in the top flight.

Would love to see more clubs challenging for the Prem title, always interesting to mix it up a bit.

Sadly for you lot the light at the end of the tunnel isn't much closer, ok some paperwork has gone in, allowing more talking and paperwork to be done, and anyway who will then own the club?

"...and anyway who will then own the club?"

is this question relevant...the fans have no say who
owns the club...no idea whether they will be good
owners or bad...a case of wait and see!
since when do fans get a say in who owns the club,
not Leeds and certainly not ManU!
