You can see he really wants to play for us, gives it 100%, good with the younger players, good in the dressing room, very intelligent footballer

no complaints so far

Agree with all that but was concerned when we got him, what a difference it makes to put in a few good shifts. Surprised by the amount of praise that NW was put on him, seems they have a great working relationship. Very good for the team it would seem. Hopefully get a bit more quality in Jan and hope we wont be too far off the pace to do a Reading. We should be so lucky!

to be fair he was decent at donny too, i think maybe the step down from the premiership has taken some of the pressure off of him.

Best player on the park and you can tell he's a different class. Great to see a player wearing white who can hold the ball and attract 4 defenders, and then slip it through for someone. Scared Everton to death and he hurt them, he even knew that the ex manc would try and sythe him down as soon as he he came off the bench. Classic

Is one Best player we have had in 8 years

You have a class player who seems to interact very well with speccies, even the away ones.
He has a chequered past, but since he was at Rovers last season he has proved he is not as bad as he was.

I watched the game against Everton, over here in the States, and he stood head and shoulders above anyone else on the pitch. His control of the ball and passing was brilliant.

You need to sign him for the long term or else someone else will. You have more of an exposure than Rovers had, so be warned. He could be the difference between promotion and not.

Interesting stuff. When he was with us (Bolton), he also played some of his best stuff. His antagonistic antics didn't matter while he was performing well.

That of course was under Allardyce, another manager good at controlling wayward footballers.

I'm sure he'll be a great signing - just hope he picks up a niggly injury before the 2nd Oct.

I was completely agianst his signing at first, based on his reputation. However, I must admit he has become a revelation. So far, he has added value ro the squad and his commitment on the field is not only a good example to the other players but also a benchmark. I now hope we can keep hold of him as he could be pivotal to any success we might have.

I was'nt over keen on him tbh, but was willing to give him the benefit of the doubt as NW was, plus at the time we weren't exactly throwing money around were we ?
Now i'd be quite happy to see him being given a good contract.
According to reports he's one of the lowest paid players at Leeds, but still turns out excellent onfield performances, his rapport with Fans is brilliant, and he seems to love playing for Leeds United.
I think in the future his time at Leeds will be fondly remembered both by himself and the Supporters.
