Maybe some of your players should dive more?
Hang on a sec... this is a Liverpool article.
Ignore what I just typed.
A dive by Valencia
------------------------
Valencia is out injured with a bruised instep sustained in the challenge where GJ didn't touch him
Shall we just talk about this season only and forget about the past. Liverpool have had every big decision against them this season.
...................
Typical, you want to forget about the decisions that went your way (Rodwell), but whine about the ones that don't.
And if you think Evans should have been red carded, you are nothing but an utter buffoon.
It really is no wonder your fans are stuck with the 'victim' stigma.
With Mr.Rodgers "fighting" against this injustice I have no doubt within the next few couple of weeks the refs will stop picking on L'pool
i agree with your sentiment(well most of it)
First off Shelvey did not get the ball. But the Evans attempt to win the ball was two footed and could have been worse if he caught Shelvey.
Valencia did not dive, there was contact, but not enough imo to make him fall, and if he has suffered an injury it wasnt because of GJ challenge. Very soft penalty.
He started falling before johnson even touched him

You're right he didn't touch him, Valencia wore a protective boot AFTER training... Ergo he sustained the injury in training.
You have to be somewhat obtuse to think Glen Johnson attended training at Carrington and injured Valencia.
and if he has suffered an injury it wasnt because of GJ challenge
----------------------
Yes it was. Sir Alex stated it in his press conference today
So far this season in domestic games, a bad decision has gone against us in almost every game and all you could come up with is one bad decision our way from last season? You could do better than that; I know you can. At least give four more instances from last season where a bad decision has gone our way and I'll be truely impressed.
Im pretty sure teh slow mo showed that GJ slighly brushed Valencia's heel befor he made the slide. Then Valencia fell then GJ hit connected with his upper thigh. Personally i dont think it was a penalty, and there is no way the ref could have seen the heel touch, as sky had to replay it about 5 times form different angles to show it.

It must be true then

GJ was clumsy. Valencia isn't a diver
You can't blame the ref
So it must be right if Ferguson said so

URM - If you read my comments I never said he was a diver but he did go down easy. I said there was contact and implied that he went down when he felt the contact. I dont blame Valencia for the penalty and I can blame the ref becuase that was never a penalty.
DaveLFC
It was a soft penalty no doubt about it. But you will see them given and you will see them not given.
We had one, far worse than that, given against us at OT last year, And it cost us two points. City would not be champions if we had those two points.
First off Shelvey did not get the ball
...
I dont know why people keep saying that - he did
Pretty sure SAF said he got the knock when he nipped in between the two Liverpool players on the run that lead to the penalty.
-------------
Yeah he did say that but think he said it was compounded in the pen challenge
Anyways, I can see why the ref came up with all the decisions he did and you know I'm as impartial as they come
I felt for Halsey, I thought he did well in a tough match to officiate to then receive the horrid tweets too
Halsey stunk last weekend

Do you not think both Agger and Johnson could be culpable in any way? Both dived in on halfway - if you watch Johnson he jumps in and does his best to foul Valencia with no chance of getting the ball - and ends up mangling his own team mate.
Then johnson fouls Valencia in the area - why wasn't he then sent off for denying a goalscoring chance?
Its ok saying you blame the ref for giving the penalty. I think the blame lies elsewhere.
My two cents. There was nowhere near enough contact to go down (there was minute contact). He was still already going down when the contact happened. that makes it a dive, whatever country you come from.
I think the suarez challenge wasn't a pen either, but there was far more contact than with the valencia one.
If Valencia isn't a diver, I'm assuming that Wellbeck didnt dive the other day either? That one was criminal.

You've got to be joking - it was stonewall
I can't beleive what I'm reading, you state a goalscoring position yet it was Reina who got the ball

Whether the decisions were correct or not (refs have stated they were btw) from the angles he had of the incidents in the game, he made the right call everytime
Suarez swan dive was never going to be given by any ref
The Shelvey/Evans situation has been explained by refs since and that a two-footed challenge is not an automatic sending odd. Shelvey caught Evans with enough force to have cause serious injury. The force Evans used was no where near as much and it has been explained countless times the similarity to the Holden/Evans challenge of not long ago where Evans was the one who caught his man so Evans was the one the went. Nobody winged about it like Liverpool fans are about Evans
As for Valencia's. GJ was clumsy and from where the ref was, it looked nailed on
I don't see how you can possible say he had a stinker given the angles he had of the incidents.
