SPR,
Your manager was using those deaths to get sympathy for himself.
Then when asked to expand, he says he's only talking about football now.
Utter b@wbag
Celtic fans just trying to bring Ally down to their level, ....human nature I suppose
Utter b@wbag? I'd reserve that for the sac that dreamt up this "parody". Like your parodies, tim,eh? First Shelley, noo Madmen? Whatever best helps ye disguise yir hate,I suppose..
I thought the whole thing was very insensitive any, portraying they death of an old firm manager is a bit daft. The fact its a parody of a tv intro surely makes no difference.
If I had a Facebook account and portrayed Neil Lennon as one of the charecters from the walking dead being eating by a zombie (loving the zombie stuff keep it up) I would probably get a call or visit from the police.
How is this different?
Also you think Ally is wrong to say comedy portrayals of suicide in a week when two kids killed themselves is wrong?
have a look at yourselves.
SPR,
Sorry, but zombies don't actually exist in reality. It's called 'banter'.
Suicide is a real phenomenon. And no matter how you dress it up, those comments were crass, insensitive, and completely out of context.
What did the fat one actually say?
Ally has proven he struggles with the pressure, just like Neil.
Difference being, Neil has never branded himself as a 'cheeky chappie' everybodys pal...When the mask slips and the real Ally is shown to be human with failing, the Berzzzz canny handle the fact he's a phannie like the rest of us.
B@ws tim
Whit connection does ally fallin oot a windae have wi a Rangers Motherwell game exactly?
Crass, insensitive and out of context? Yep you've got it
Exactly Tim zombies aren't real suicide is that reinforcesmy point surely!
I will wait till I actually read or hear the quote before I decide if it was crass, insensitive but certainly doesn't sound out of context.
Suicide is a real phenomenon.................so why did the BBC think it a good idea to portray it on a football programme.
"The fact its a parody of a tv intro surely makes no difference."
It makes all the difference. It was a parody of a very popular TV show that depicts people in high pressure jobs/scenarios.
The linking of this to some of the events in the news was uncalled for and opportunistic. THAT is what should be taken offence at.
