LH, I know that you and I have stated emphatically that we would never want us to lose a game. It goes against our core beliefs!!!
It's this whole supposition that a defeat against Leeds means that Coyle will definitely be sacked. None of us know whether that will happen.
Can't take credit for this one (oslo white (Bolton Wanderers) - from TeamTalk Bolton Forum).
"In a piece of interesting timing, did you know that the Norwegian Premier League finishes in about 3 weeks? Did you also know that Ole Gunnar Solskjær is close to winning his 2nd Norwegian Title in 2 attempts? Surely a better option than Brown, Curbishley, McCarthy and the other perennial failures? If you can put his Manu connections to one side he could be the man to fire a Bolton renaissance".
Whats your thoughts on this one?
I can see Gartside getting Phil Brown til the summer..
Then more choice in the summer depending in status..
I'd have Billy Davies on a similar contract too.
Of course no one knows what would happen if Leeds win tomorrow. But as with Megson and the hull game.. The fans can influence Gartside to move forward with decisions..
From the people I speak to, they want Coyle gone before they start to dislike him.. Weird comment, but I understand what they mean...

I was thinking a similar thing this morning. But how many games did Megson get before PG acted. I can't be bothered to check, but it will be a fair few more than OC has had since things turned against him. I think we are still a bit off that level of discontent!!

I totally get this...
P.s. MT, need your next set of predictions mate
Home tomorrow pal, I'll have a look..
JAH, I'd deffo take solskjaer. As much as I believe that anyone who has ever even so much as thought about wearing a man u shirt should be hung, drawn and quartered, he's worked with ferguson off the pitch for long enough to have picked up enough tips.
Rumours circulating that Coyle has been sacked.
Has the SSN banner gone yellow!!!????
Same rumours since yesterday evening on Twitter. Some people think its gospel if you right "official source"! Without actually naming the source!
Yeh, Nuts has a 'COYLE SACKED' thread running.
Alan Curbishley - Boring, but the best out of these 4
Billy Davies - couldn't manage to get Forrest promoted
Graeme Souness - you've got to be kidding? (said in Sean Connery 007 accent)
Mick McCarthy - Miserable sod. Never liked or warmed to him. I also think he's crap
Hierro - Untested, but has connections in Spain that could be useful
Campo - Could only be a coach maybe working with Hierro, but completely untested
Solskjær - Untested in the UK, but is doing very well in Norway
Kean - We'll all be protesting outside of the Bok before he signs
Keegan - He was pretty good at Newcastle. Would he come?
Pearce - Not sure he is good enough, but I would give him time
Sven - Has been pants everywhere since City. Prob too expensive
Dicanio - He's doing better with Brighton. Why would he jump into our sinking ship
Brown - Not unless he was with someone else and maybe Reidy as DOF
Benitez - I would love this, but really? If he would do the job then he would be my choice. He could have Hierro as No.2 and Campo as coach - a Spanish dream team, but thats where that will stay, a dream.
Alex McKliesh - Can't spell him, but don't care. Terrible manager according to my mates in Brum, which will prob put him at the front of the line when OC goes
Owen Coyle - Yes, retain him. Sack off the coaching team and promote Lee and LSL into the set up with maybe a DOF to oversee the whole thing - this has working possibilities for me
There were a number of articles like this on the old 606 towards the end of the nameless one's time including a couple written by me. My pick then was Phil Brown as manager/head coach with Peter Reid as Director of Football for purely sentimental reasons with Alan Curbishley also someone I could see doing a good job especially at our level assuming he'd come this far north.
Having said that I want Owen out I'd say that for my money today I'd make an approach for Paolo Di Canio because IMO he's doing a superb job with Swindon and might relish a challenge like ours. Maybe with Hierro and LSL as coaches.
I know it's probably going to make me sound insane but I really think that trio has some real possibilities.
I would take solsjaker or a Heirro combo. Paulo di Canio would be exciting but not sure he is capable enough.
Heirro combo
Is that some sort of spanish dish, or a dubious 5exual position?
how about neil mcdonald?is he ready to step out of sams shadow or is he terry connor to mick mccarthy?
Been there done that Sammy Lee. He also had a go at Carlise and not sure but assumed he failed!
Didnt curbs build a team which bossed the championship and regularly finished 7th-13th in the PL? No surprise Charlton plummeted when he left them.
I would have Curbs. He would be a steady hand with experience rather than the flash in pan we have now. Only issue is if he likes our location.
Evening everyone.
I posted a few times last season promoting Heirro but I honestly think that ship may have sailed now sadly.
Curbs had a good record at Charlton and always seemed to have a decent backroom team around him.I would question though he didnt pick the two Argies Tevez and one of the best holding midfielders around at that time, saying that I dont know all the facts.
Basically/realistically we are looking at Holloway,.Big Mick and Keith Hill .As for Terry Connor Benny let it lie pal,let it lie.
i think you will find big mick and tc come as a pair.
Looking at the candidates one thing is for sure- another few years of godawful football at The reebok. Woohoo.
MT guess you've not had time to predict, or are you giving everyone else a chance - lol.
