Spectrum Services, your tag line could be something simple like, for all your IT needs.

Spectrum Services is short and easy to remember, Don't go for something long that customers will struggle to remember.

A very good tip for you CEF.

You wont have to charge vat for your services for quite a while. Your quotes should reflect this and be honest about the situation with clients. It's the norm in IT for sole traders & new businesses to share the spoils 50/50. It helps you at first with income and gives you extra leverage when going into the market with your quotations.

RB.

Funnily enough, I'm having a bit of dispute via e-mail right now with my Business advisor regarding this very issue.

I want to sell time, he wants me to sell jobs!!!

My head is ready to explode!!!!!

I use a lot of contact workers and I've slowly started to provide them thro' my company to clients at their insistence. Companies hate using recruitment consultancies and there's money to be made from supplying the right people to the right companies.

What IT recruitment companies know about IT is astoundingly poor and they are often taken in by cv's they are not in a position to question and then provide totally inadequate contractors to business who then have to terminate and suffer costs.
