Pro has been poor, but FIFA has never felt like a fluid football game for me!!

it has never made me go calling for it, where as Pro has!

This years is supposed to be a huge improvement!!

PES is great this year still a little bit robotic in its movement but other than that its good.

I've always thought that FIFA was very robotic, but I supposed its all about the simulation that you prefer?

From what I gather, FIFA 13 is not significantly different to FIFA 12.
PES 12 was the first decent and playable version on the PS3. If PES 13 is an improvement, it should be a good game.

-------------------

YES!!

It has a few issues... no option to play a normal league which is quite annoying, but overall the game is a massive improvement on any PES PS3/Xbox game!

Also if you like the fact FIFA has most of the licenses have no fear...

I was hard-core Pro Evo from the days of ISS but switched a couple of years ago.

Master League had me hooked all year round, FIFA with leagues/online play I have stopped playing after a few months every edition.

I tried downloading Pro Evo for my PC the other day but it cant handle the graphics so I may have to purchase it for PS3.

I haven't bought this years one yet but have bought 3 off him for previous Pro Evo's... he does a great job and has been doing them for years... check out the feedback!

In the edit screen there is an option to use prequel data... which I'm currently doing to see if it'll update all the team names, strips and badges until i can be bothered to buy the new one.

I must add the music on the menus is horrific, that stupid Spanish song they keep playing is doing my head in!

DONT USE PREQUEL DATA!!!

Finished copying all old files (this is on Xbox) and now try to start a game and it frezzes at the same point everytime!

Did some digging and there is a bug with prequel data.

I'm now gonna have to delete the whole game and start again

Its very hard to actually choose the reason I prefer PES. I think its due to it unpredictability. All goals feel different if that makes sense?

Fifa every goal/Match feel the same. Although a lot of people disagree with me!

My grammar today = terrible! Excuse me I have that friday feeling!

I have had PES for a couple of weeks now and am loving it, the online is not as good as FIFA but it is fine (apart from the fact I have won one game in 6, this is due to me crossing over to the dark side of FIFA for the last 3 years),
There are so many different ways to score and it makes you think more when attacking, I haven't quite sussed out the best way to defend yet but it is a MASSIVE improvement....

I would like to hear from somebody who has given both an equal chance. I am already leaning towards PES but....I think things certainly come off as fanboys of both games are promoting their preferred choice without actually giving the other game a chance first.

FIFA people a little more than others

Definitely buying PES, I'll wait a few weeks as the prices will come down like it does with PES every year. But count me in your league or whatever?

I havent bought a football game new for about 6/7 years as i have felt both have been poor for a while now, recently been buying FIFA as its imo the best of bad football games, and i need my fix of football games. Have had the demos of both FIFA and PES on the PS3 for a while and I always go back to PES this year and im really considering buying it new - thats how good i think it is.

For some reason i agree above with FIFA has never felt 'right' i cant explain it, but as a footballer i have never liked the recent carnations of FIFA, it looks like football but has never quite felt like football.

I want the best football game and to me this year it seems like PES.

You cant really dribble with the ball on FIFA. You need to be an expert to be able to dribble properly. Only way to score is by passing like a madman for 10 minutes and then playing a throughball through the opp defence. Interceptions are too easy. Most of the good players dont have any redeeming attributes despite what their ratings are. Its easy to stop Ronaldo or Messi from strutting their stuff. On ProEvo. You would always use one of the two to do a little dribble from the half way line and score. Virtually impossible to do it on FIFA as its so easy to get the ball off them. FIFA is basically one big midfield battle. You lose the ball then you win it back then you lose it again then win it back. Repeat for 90 mins.

Just gonna wait for the price to go down

I've got this years pro and have been enjoying it, a vast improvement from 12!! Hardly played it mind and I have lost a about 4 out of 6 online...

So what's people's PSN's??

posted on 8/10/12

Due to increased peer pressure from my son (and me being weak) I bought FIFA yesterday to go alongside PES which I have now had for 3 weeks,
I can honestly say that if it was up to me I would take it (Fifa13) back, apart from a few asthetic changes to the start up screne there isn't really that much different, still the same old ways to score, where as with PES you are forced to try different things.

posted on 9/10/12

Opps lol... I'm enjoying the new pro, it's getting back to its best and I love the u predictablilty you have!! Just like real football, unlike fifa's easy on the eye and aimed at a great game every time!

FIFA is failing and their online set up is rubbish!!
