Gotta love the way we play (most of the time).
I didnt see that coming after a good first half.
Good night all!
Is it me or does it seem that every single shot seems to go in for the opposition these days?
Didn't stand much of a chance tonight but we need more from Reina
We were never going to score another even if we played for another hour. Too many pointless sideways passes in the middle of the park and around their box. We need more penetration and someone who is willing to have a dig.
We need to up our pace, slow build ups is doing my head in.
You can't be sent off for pulling a player. It's a professional foul and thus a yellow. We didn't have the balance right again tonight. I think the Carragher-Coates partnership is as bad as the Carragher-skrtel partnership.
Lots to admire about our style, but there were too many lapses of concentration.
Just remember that: 18 + 5 > 19 + 3 (U13064)

TOOR, surely that was violent conduct though?
Not sure how we lost that.....but ANOTHER defensive error doesnt help
Well BR is doing it the hard way by refusing to win at Anfield; at least it wasnt a prem loss although Stoke will be licking their lips at our shoddy set piece defending.
I can't see how pulling an opponent back is violent conduct.
meh. I'd have twa tted him myself.
Now that would be violent conduct.
I dont get it either TOOR
A foul yes. Grabbed him and pulled him back but violent conduct? Assault? Not for me.
Going to have to play the big guns against anzhi
No, I guess not. anyway, great display 1st half
Makes you wonder what Eto'o will do to that Liverpool defence.
Lets be honest lads, the other teams you've played in this competition have been cack. This is the first real test, and you failed big time.
Our problems were there for all to see. Udinese changed it, to counter our play, in the second half and it worked, we then needed a plan b, to see the game out but we don't have one.
We are far too laborious in our build up play, we make many passes and to some it may look and feel good but 75% of our possession is passing it around the back four and the centre of midfield. The ball never seems to go anywhere in dangerous areas.
Udinese came out the second half and pressed the ball more in these areas and we got punished.
Suarez freekick though was sublime.
Our players must stop gifting the opponent. Stupid errors and not our play is undoing. Cut the errors out.
