Hope so Leiva...that would be fkn amazing
Rumour has it that the same team is going out tomorrow that started the Norwich game, which if true, seems like Brendan's first choice 11.
Sahin is the key for me in our upcoming fixtures.
Looks so so comfortable with the ball and supports the attack very well. Just hope we can sort a deal before he plays TOO well
Sahin is what i call a "proper" player, in exactly the same category as Masch,Alonso and Torres; if LFC are to move right back into title and CL contention, then its the Sahins etc that need to be captured.
It looks like he is enjoying his time at Anfield, and moving right up into the top echelons of the league is a must if we are to keep him.
Absolutely. The player will have a big say in where he goes so hopefully we can start putting results together and make it an easy choice for him.
A midfield of Sahin, Gerrard, Lucas, Shelvey, Allen looks very fkn tasty to me,and all but Gerrard are very young.
We'll need to be at our best to beat Stoke, take our chances when we work them and we should win.
Dealing with the set pieces will be tough.

Your not brightest bulb in the box are you soft lad?

the bean pole is back as well, I've always liked crouchy but lets hope he has a shocker tomorrow
Agree Lucas, although you cant believe that BR has forgot to practice set pieces, eh?
Mind you its one thing practising and another stopping a whipped in ball droping on Crouchs head and Stokes defenders fouling and blocking(illegally) the GK etc.....lets hope we stand tall.
Alas, excuse me? What has got your knickers in a twist now?....soft lad!
I'm guessing you want us to fall over ourselves and proclaim Everton to be an impenetrable fortress that we have no chance of getting even a point from.
A few decent results and you get so carried away...bless
Dont worry Lucas, either Fellaini will get sent off vs us or i wouldnt mind betting we get a pen
Stoke will hardly have a touch of the ball but will create plenty of chances with crouch the focal point.
Allen, Sahin and Gerrard will have to watch the runners from midfield all game, especially Gerrard, he fails to do so most of the time.
We will win all of those games.
What do u base that on jlou? Hope ur right of course.
I base it on the fact that we are playing some outstanding football, albeit with a distinct need to improve our concentration in terms of defence, and hopefully, suspensions, and injuries kept to a minimum, there will be continuity in the first eleven, which will grow confidence within the team, and we can create a firm foundation for the season ahead.
More than that, we are far better, in terms of football, and personel, than any of the teams we are due to meet in the coming weeks.
Most of all, I am looking forward to the derby, which I believe will dispel a number of myths, as regards the comparative abilities of both teams, and show, that even as a work in progress, this team is more than capable of making an impact this season, even after such an indifferent start.
Hopefully Stoke will leave Crouch out and play Michael Owen up front, and he injures his hamstring walking onto the pitch.
Someones due a good hiding from Liverpool at Anfield, and hopefully with an early goal, it could well be Stoke.
Obviously they will play a rear guard action, but of late, we still seem more than capable of pulling defences apart who play in this way, with sharp passing, and good movement, which in turn will create openings not just for Suarez, but also midfielders who should always be looking to get beyond the front man when your enjoying a lot of possession, especially during a home game.
Stoke 2-1 win
Reading 4-1 win
Everton 3-2 defeat
Swansea 3-0 win
Come on!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I'm a little excitable!!!! And drunk!!!!!
I reckon we'll beat Everton. Usually 6 guaranteed 6 points for us and Gerrard's cup final along with games vs United.
I can see Sahin being key for us, in terms of getting into the box and scoring goals. His tendancy to get into the box and shoot is becoming invaluable.
Sterling is similar in that he likes to shoot and get into the box as well; so all of a sudden we have 2 mf who can now support Suarez.
