You haven't questioned Ally's tactics yet IE?

Think you might be right Henrik. Because when you think about it, Ally was the assistant coach to a lot of these guys and they always seem to get on better with the players on a personal level.

Most of the time theyre more lenient and probably dont mind getting called their first name. Think Ally has adopted that sort of thing and just let it stick.

subs

tell me what 'punishments' are 'unjust'.

that side are where they are because of their own ill-doings. nobody else's fault.

Course I do Bravis, but the players still aren't giving 100% in most games and that's not good enough

The Buck stops with Ally...

It prob will as it normally stops with the manager but that doesn't change the fact the players are letting him down

"letting him down" or just not responding to his man management

I think McCoist is in general a nice guy.... but for some reason he cant seem to get the players going. Maybe he is basically too nice !

You have to admit that Rangers should be winning every game by a couple of goals.

The players are a disgrace.

The pitch is the same at Ibrox as it is in the away games.

McCoist has to sort that out though.

And I just want to say that I was slated months ago for criticizing him for not buying the pick of the SFL players out there.

McCoist as manager has a shocking record

You have a situation where a team who can take 4 or 5 off everyone else in the league at home, can't get a decent result away. The blame for that lies with the manager. Can anyone imagine the likes of Walter Smith or Martin O'Neill, having those types of regular results with that team?

And before anyone says that managers of that calibre wouldn't want McCoist's job, there are plenty of them around who might not be as good as that, but are still much better than Ally and who would take it.

On an earlier point I don't think rangers will ease past caley, as they did with Motherwell.

Caley will raise their game, where motherwell didn't.

I still fully expect rangers to progress, but it'll be a cagey game with just the one goal in it

It's not the players faulty. It's Ally's fault for the simple reason - Managers mould the team, mould the system, motivate (or not) the players.

It's always the manager and it's the reason why good managers make good teams and bad managers have bad teams.

A team that's losing can change managers and suddenly start to win and look like another team. The team is good enough as you can see for the Ibrox results. It's now become this mental block and it's up to Ally to break it. Ally is gonna be sacked sooner or later, but he will be sacked. He's not good enough. He was poor last year and 3 points away this season is a disgrace. Loved him as player and a person, but think he's a krap manager. I would sack him on Monday and get in Billy Davies if I was Charles Green.

Castle

My wee Rangers mad mate actually agreed with you last night, and he loves Coisty, like us all,as a player and decent bloke.
Buck does stop with the manager, and although I would give him longer,I have questioned his managerial ability seriously in recent times.
We still have good players,as the Well game proved, but they lack fight and tactics away from Ibrox.

I know you follow Chelsea too Castle, and look at AVB last season..........lost the players and results.RDM came in and witness an instant improvement, winning the big one in Europe,FA cup,and staying clear at the top of the league right now.

I hate to consider seeing Ally go,as he is one of us,but if it benefits Rangers,I trust Ally to do the right thing...........sort it out pronto,or step aside, before he outstays his welcome and support.

No one is bigger than the club, must be the constant focus at Rangers, for players and staff alike.
