Well i am still not sure what is going on with the managers job, is there a short list yet, has there been any communication from the communications manager, no. As per usual it is all speculation.
The team needs a manager asap, they were awful against Wolves. A new manager needs to be brought in so he can get those lazy, ignorant rich ***** on the training ground and get them sorted. We have a massive problem now though, with Moses getting the boot down the road we have competition, and if I were an unemployed manager and given the choice between the two clubs I would choose Bolton for obvious reasons. I know one thing for sure Black is not the right man for the job.

ITS A MAD HOUSE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is going to be an anxious wait and then hope we have the right man for the job.

It wouldn't suprise me if Venkys are not even bothering to look for a manager and have already decided on Black

Nothing would surprise me.You would have to be really stupid to keep on the same track as they have done!

Definitely don't want Shearer. Need someone with prior experience (not just 8 doomed games at Newcastle!) Yes Hughes had no club experience when we hired him, but he had a good record with Wales!

I appreciate that short term it might bring fans/club back together but long term it is important we get someone who steadies the ship and has a good shout at bringing us back up first time. The long-term prospects are much riskier with big Al in charge.

I'm not a huge advocate of McCarthy but Venkys threw away any margin for error when they insisted on backing Keanochio. In this respect maybe the depressing truth is we will have to sacrifice a more leftfield choice in order to improve the greater health of the club.

To be honest I can't believe they are even considering him, but then again it's not like they really know what they're doing anyway. If they hired him I would be disappointed.

What happened to the chicken after the Wigan game, it seemed to give the goal keeper more to do in that game, it could be more tactically aware than Kean and Black.

Hughes could be out of a job soon and I think would relish the chance to come back. He’s also shown at City, Fulham and QPR that he doesn’t mind working with troublesome and interfering owners. Problem is, Hughes (if he is too be sacked) will probably get another game or two at QPR. Could we afford to wait that long?

I hope so !Mark hughes would be a super new manager.

Probably not, but the owners are hardly known for their swift resolutions!

A statement by Mrs D. on the new manager.
'She-Ra is known for her incredible strength. Many times she has been shown to be able to lift not only full-grown men and robots, but also mountain-like rocks and buildings. She is also depicted as being extremely fast and acrobatic. She-Ra also demonstrated a series of other abilities which appear to be more nurturing in nature such as empathic understanding, mental communication with animals and healing.
She-Ra's primary weapon is her Sword of Protection. Her sword is apparently almost indestructible and able to deflect bolts of energy, both magical and technological, as well as to project beams of energy from the stone in its center.
She-Ra is largely non-violent and usually only resorts to combat as a last resort, often preferring to outsmart her adversaries; her most violent actions typically consist of body throws. This is the best person to take Blackburn Rovers forward'

Pretty much agree with Fetish on this. The Newcastle stint was too short to guarantee he's a bad manager, but its certainly not an indication he's a good one. And as Fetish says we no longer have a margin for error.

Without a doubt he'd be above Sherwood and Black in my pecking order, but I prefer a manager who has direct experience in getting us where we want to be. So McCarthy would be my choice out of the front runners.

It also says on BBC Sport about Ruud Gullit being open to becoming our new manager....sexy football coming out way!!

posted on 10/10/12

Hope its not Ruud Gullitt as he was a disaster at Feyenoord,I will hope for Mark Hughes or Mcarthy and Big Al as the last resort. One thing is for sure we need to sort things out very soon.

Miles, I don't like the idea of She-Ra, I mean if she has kid's she'll be Mum-Ra, and then lion-o will be all cross about it

Sorry MJ. I just have visions of it becoming true, Singh saying something along the lines of 'we have been on Google and found She ra has all the credentials we are looking for, we thought Skeletor was a good candidate for the job, but, wikipedia uses the word sometimes too many times in his powers and abilities section. We understand now that the margin for error is very slim, we must get this appointment right, if not we will not be playing champions league football in two years. We have also got to make the right choice for the fans, whom I understand have [moslty] seen masters of the universe'
Not seen you round these parts of late MJ, are you ok? Have you been on holiday?

Judan Ali is the man for me. He's a terrific up and coming young manager who has coped with torrents of prejudice and pressure throughout his career.

Wild_Rover,i agree with you, that the Venkies will leave us with Black for a period of time,i guess a month at least, but if i was a manager of any note i would not dream of being employed by these idiots, although you have to agree that they are NOT hirers and Firers,,the lenght of time they gave Kean tells prospective managers that,so once again we are all playing the guessing game.

Vinjay is well connected with Sheik Mansour and would bring his investment with him back to Ewood.
