I'm glad the bunt went, but tbf, I think we did pay quite a bit to have him on loan iirc.
"Man Utd got the best out of him"
"Problems trying to get rid of him"
Do you watch football or what?
I wouldn't suprised if they're sitting there with a bottle of claret red still bitter about that poster we put up in Deansgate. If Cook is taking lessons from Fergie and Gill then we'd be offering Tevez a load more money rather than trying to get rid of him you eejit.
I'm sure City fans will be happy if they get Aguero as part of the deal that sees Tevez going!
Whereas United fans can look forward to seeing Morrison promoted from the reserves!

Imagine if we'd payed the £25m wanted for him at the time and be facing the problems Citeh are now. Forget it, he wasn't a big loss but he could have been in monetry value.
Granted you won a trophy out of him, but United didn't pay a penny in transfer fees
-------------------------------
And United didn't get a penny in transfer sales. City will.
Citeh? so are you from manchester then?

They'll be lucky to break even. Anyway, they have to sell him first.
We will get a reasonable fee for him, similar to what we paid, maybe a bit more. We have paid big wages to him, but all class players demand big wages.
Don't think you will get anywhere near what you paid
for Berbatov back in a transfer fee.
Most City fans would prefer if he stayed but what can you do?
Why, how much did we pay for him?
Don't think you will get anywhere near what you paid

I'll settle for the trophies we've won with Berbatov instead. This was the point I was making. It's not the money return on it's own, it's the fact United won much more without paying any fees. Something that seems to be lost on people. In addition, we didn't have the headache of getting shot of him, thank god.
... Right, because when Tevez signed for us two years ago, City and United were both equal forces in world football

They paid between £40m to £45m for him.
How can you compare the amount of trophies City have won with Tevez and the amount United did with him when United were already an established force in world football, and City have only just become a Champions League club? If you honestly think United got more out of Tevez than we did, then you probably want to try watching a few football games before you post an article on a sports forum.
Quite right Gratedbean,
2 years ago we were along way from where we are now.
We had just started splashing the cash and everyone was saying that the team won't gel blah blah blah.
So just winning a cup and champions league qualification which Tevez more than contributed to is making great strides.
They paid between £40m to £45m for him.

It gets better, unless you are a high ranking senior member of staff at MCFC there's no way you can speculate on anything like that and be taken seriously.
So, are you?
We did not pay between 40-45 million at all. That figure was the total cost of the deal, including the price of his initial contract.
The fee to MSI was 25 million.
Everyone forgets that United paid 14 million to MSI to loan him for 2 seasons as well.
They'll be lucky to break even. Anyway, they have to sell him first.
---------------------------------
And considering United paid out for Tevez' wages, United didn't break even on him anyway when he left.

Yeh you keep missing the point. For a two year loan deal we got 2 premier league titles and a european cup. Citeh have paid £40m+ for him for an FA Cup. Now they're touting him around europe desperate to get rid. United got the better deal, it's not difficult to understand.
It clearly is difficult for you to understand, as I said earlier;

How are we desperate to get rid? If we were surely we would have immediately agreed upon the initial 35m offer from Corinthians? But obviously you know more about our club...
P.S. If you think United got the better deal out of Tevez, go and ask Fergie how much this wound him up:
