Two articles on Linfield in a matter of minutes. I have to admit I didn't know Big Davy got involved in any of this. Maybe the pressure is getting to him!
Globalled I take it you were at the game then that you seen the Big Man inciting a riot as i have seen or heard nothing also ?
The referee should be cited for sending one player off for pushing someone away after he was nearly broken in two by a thuggish attack.
The perpetrator received a yellow card

No I wasn't there, like many others I don't attend the games anymore but I still take an interest in the games despite the diluted talent pool.
I did however see the video several times and it seems to me that David Jeffrey, as is often the case when things don't go Linfield's way, was in the referee's face screaming and yelling at the end of the game.
The second giveaway that he had a hand in the mess was his later comment. After he had cooled off and realised that is conduct contributed to the mess, he tried to downplay the incident by referring to it as a "storm in a teacup".
With regard to the referee, he did exactly what he should have done. You are not allowed to put your hands on another player, either by pushing or punching him. The real issue that David Jeffrey should be dealing with is that his own player got succkered into being sent off by the oldest trick in the book. It appears that one of the Dungannon players made a comment to him after the foul and he lost control, as in David Jeffrey!
Good luck.
People arent attending Irish League football for many reasons, the standard is not so good and the lure of English Football is much more appealing. Not because of an isolated incident at Stangmore Park (albeit involving a legend of the local game)
I'ma bit of an oddity when it comes to footballing matters.
I think a person who deliberately tries to inflict a serious injury by a thuggish tackle deserves to be punished more than someone who in frustration and anger simply pushes a player away.
Havent seen you on or a while, or anyone else for that matter.
Hope you are keeping Ok
