Johan Cruyff.
The most complete footballer ever to walk this earth.

3rdDiv - I did not say that that hatrick was unbelievable or anything, also you are playing it down a bit. He also got 2 assists!

Messi is by far the greatest, don't think anyone will compare to that boy. All world records will be held by him by the time he retires

Ronaldinho definitely the most fun to watch though.
Well, aside from Lee Trundle!
I always enjoyed watching Jay Jay Okocha as well.

Lorenzo Amoruso was one of the most exciting players I can remember.

In the sense that you had absolutely no idea what he was going to do next, and nor did he.

Big Amo was amazing, some of his 80yard runs fae defence would put Messi to shame

Le Tissier was a pleasure to watch. Probably the most naturally talented british player of the past 30 years.

If he took training seriously we'd be talking about him add one of the all time greats

I have an international football radio show at uni, and Ronaldinho's hat-trick was my Performance of the Week. He also made two assists that game, the second of which went as such:
Picked the ball up in the centre circle, nutmegged one, skipped past two more, charged up the field, then played an incredible 'no look' through ball through to the striker to finish.
His step-father passed away the day before the game, hence him breaking down after his first goal.
Hero.

And France I think?

Imagine a front 2 , Cantona and Papin, with Ginola and LeTiss playing off them with Deschamp and Desailly holding.
I'd quite enjoy wathcing that actually.

Ronaldinho was unlucky not to be picked for the last World cup imho. But I doubt if he'll make the next one.

Ronadlinho for me also....

I remember sitting with my mate and watching the Barca chelsea game at stamford bridge.... Ronadlinho standing at edge of the box with the ball at his feet and about 5 chelsea players round him he just poked it right into the bottom corner... ped cech was helpless

two of us jumped up at the same like.... WOW!

things he could do with a ball was frightening...
