It was the team I expected to be honest. But Whitbread stands out as a worry as it stands, hopefully he will step up and I'm sure his fitness has come on leaps and bounds.
I hate missing games!!!
I worry about De Laet. Otherwise, what I was expecting.
This is Waggy's chance anyway.
Got to get at their back 4! Looking very slow for me! and It looks as though they are going to go 5 across the middle with King up top on his own.
Could go either way this game you never know whats going to happen after international break
Oh dear - waggy just missed an open goal. Really hope that doesn't cost us.
Coincidentally, that Jermaine Beckford bloke at Huddersfield sounds quite useful...
Waggys selection not a surprise was it.
Waggy missing a couple of chances not a surprise. But he has the right attitude and that's all that matters to Nigel.
I do hope it comes good for Waggy as we arn't getting a replacement any time soon and Poor old Fuctac is the 4th pick?
I hope more; that if we can't pick up 3 pts today, we don't have a rush of morons on the phone in.
From what I can see, we are going to be joint second at the worst come full time....
BBC commentator review of first half - 'Leicester are the better team by a country mile...'
Doesn't sound like the ref is doing us any favours...
Nev, Vardy was benched because he has been under the weather and Shakespeare said that Waghorn was selected because he looked the sharpest in training.
KTF i know why Vardy wasn't staring fair comment.
But i did say yesterday that Waghorn would be first pick
Unfortunatly so far his sharpness in training has been not evident on the pitch.
Frankly ktf - short of him being in a wheelchair I'd always pick Vardy over Waggy.
The fact that Waghorn is our main backup shows how fragile we are up front.
Yes I agree, obviously we can't truly know how he is playing as we aren't there but if he wants to stay in the team he needs to be hitting the target with one on ones.
But if Shakespeare is saying he has been sharper than others in training, then it makes sense to start....obviously not necessarily mean we have to finish the game with him!.....although I win around a tenner if he scores anytime!
For those doubting Whitbread, thought he had an excellent game today, and De Laet countered Redmond's pace well.
