Players like cox mostly bring it on themselves but we've stopped crowding round the ref when things turn sour though which cant be a bad thing.
I do feel the disaplinary record is bad, but very over exaggerated, we've but pretty unlucky to get booked at times. Two yellows at derby for their keeper time wasting, (id say the red but cox should have been sent off), geddy for being tripped and halford for trying to prevent a corner yesterday etc.
We really pick em, and the contrast between refs is ridiculous, to the time wasting gone unnoticed at the derby game, whereas against cardiff the ref was telling camp to hurry up taking a goal kick before he even had the ball back. Maybe it was just because we were winning
Anyways, over 1 year, and a month, since our last penalty, says it all really haha.
Over a year since our last penalty!?!??
Blinking heck! That must be some sort of record??
Bookings for miss timed tackles. I'll never have a problem with.
Bookings for petulance / mouthing off at officials is just ridiculous. Big fines by the club on the player should be in place for things like that.
Or at least be a little creative....
Player: "Ref, if I call you a wànker... Will you send me off??"
Ref: "yes of course!!"
Player: "ok, what if I just think your a wànker?!"
Ref: "well there's not a lot I can do about that is there!"
Player: "nice one!! Ok ref, I think you're a wànker!!"
Sean's does not like his players surrounding the ref and stops them doing it. But at Donny we had a shout for a penalty and the ref never gave it.
After the game Sean asked him "why did you not give the penalty" the ref said "I could tell it wasn't a penalty because of the players reaction of not claiming it"
Sean went on to say that he coaches his team not to put that pressure on referees, so you can't win really.
Its Donny's biggest mistake in letting him go, so you lot, sit back and enjoy the ride because when things settle down you have the best manager in the league.
Its a top 6 position for sure.
Thanks Alex.
Hope Donny have a good season.

We were the pride of the Championship
and when Sean left we became the
joke of the Championship.
As for having a good season we now have a very small group who think they are really big guys under the influence of alcohol and started a fight with our own supporters.
They are banned now but what is happening to the glorious game?
I think old Cloughie would have sorted them out.
If I could turn the clock back I would stop Sean from going but thats life we have to move on.
Cherish the guy he is worth his weight in gold and I miss him greatly
