This is no way to treat the people that brought the game of cricket to India. Next they will want the crown jewells back.

It's always complications when India are involved. England can travel anywhere else in the world and no broadcast issues will arise but in India they can't handle the fact that the freedom speech is used in sky so when the ball hit's little Sachin's pads and is not given out sky will dare to say he is out.

Neon,
don’t you think the BCCI are being a bit on the cheeky side? Charging an extra £500,000 for facilities use when they already have a contact with sky running into Millions – what do they think the original contract covers, if not facilities use for the sky sports commentators? It beggars belief and shows the level of their stupidity.

Agree kash, another issue is that the sky sports commentators speak their mind and couldn’t give a hoof what Ravi Shastri & co think of their views… The series will be a lot poorer without skysports commentators that’s for sure.. Lets hope someone knocks sense into the BCCI in next few weeks

No sky commentators and facility probably means no skygo access

Neon would stick up for Jimmy Savile if he had any links with Indian cricket

I can't wait for this series. I'm not really a massive cricket fan though so could anyone please fill me in with the team news?

Will this be Tendulkar's last test series?

This is pretty bad behaviour from the BCCI. What on earth made them do this? Surely they don't need the money.

This dispute also affects us in OZ.....
I could understand if SKY were asking for some special treatment as in catering but for simple floor space and satelite usage is way over the top.

guys it doesnt mean, sky wont broadcast any matches. just means the panel will not be there for commentary and sky will have to use star crickets(the host broadcast)

Actually we do want the crown jewels back now that you mention it.Why on earth should they latch on to indian heritage.

BCCI is doing what any professional organisation would do.What'd Sky think they're going to get it gifted to them lol.

There was a time when a written/signed contract was worth something.....may as well hang on the back of the dunny door for it's worth these days.
