Quinny, I saw this bass interviewed a few months back.
D.T.:"Yeah we should have helped the Lybians, but told them it would cost them their oil."

Oh and he's not sure if Obama was born in the U.S.

Funnily enough, nobody asked about John McLean's birth certificate.

It was issued in the Panama Canal Zone.

Everything good aboot Aberdeen is in the sea. If this new facility helps prevent just a single sheep's loss of dignity then I'm all forrit.

If this was Ireland there would have, in business circles, been talk of 'Celtic Tiger' strikes.

Trump should just have bought the whole of Aberdeen and made it one big theme park.

<Towton Saw it.Just confirms what you expect of Trump.Horrible man.>

Trump's plan was rejected by the local council.

Salmond the local MSP stepped in and stopped the rejection.

He has still refused to meet or reply to the folk whose houses were bulldozed.

He's their MSP ffs.

Dave, i'm not a golfer but i have heard that the course is amazing. Apparently while you are playing a hole you can't see the next one.

However it does seem to be a bit of a rip off; you can't use your own trolley you have to hire one; if you want to hire a buggy it's one buggy per person and you have to hire a caddy to drive it for you. Worst of all.... a fiver a pint in the club house.

Fair enough Dave, that was just a bit of second hand info I heard in work

Not sure how many jobs it has created but I do think it will be a benefit to Aberdeenshire. Will be interesting to see how it all pans out with the proposed wind farm

Doubt it will affect a non golfing city dweller like myself at all.

Trump refused offers to give his views in the film.

Strange as he is an addicted publicity seeker.

Neveretheless the film makers stated Trump's view many times in the film.

On Friday night he was still threatening and bullying the BBC not to show it.

The film is balanced.

Those who think it was OK would change their tune if Trump's bulldozers moved in to flatten THEIR houses.

Dave- what happens to it if the 500 lodges and massive hotel don;t get built though?

How many local people are actually employed / were employed during construction?

Are the berms that we all saw getting piled around all the houses to make the "view better" still there? If so, the development is illegal as it has "stolen" daylight from neighbouring properties, which, believe me, you cannot do.

If he had got planing approval then stuck rigidly to that, then there are less problems. If he had employed local companies with local workers, again less problems.

If, as it appears, he has parachuted in a workforce for construction and ridden roughshod over the planning system, then Mr Trump may be in the wrong.
