Every man who supports a successful club may think that. What about all the genuine England fans, and there are 100's of thousands that are members. For the most they support smaller clubs and watching their country is the only chance they get to see the very best players. It's a bit arrogant to want international football abolished because you're lucky enough to support a top club.
--------

no doubt if i chesterfield i might think differently.

but i support spurs and spurs only and want what is best for spurs, not what is best for some random crewe fan

Has it been confirmed that Dembele is out for a while? I hope not, this is a blow as he has been a class act for Spurs already.

Serial and Chronic..a right win double..

Doesn't solve the problem, but FIFA have an insurance covering the salary of any player injured on int'l duty who's out for more than 28 days.

How long is Dembele out for Chronic?

What's wrong with Dembele?

You know the score, Chronic.

International break + Spurs players = increased injury list.

scan results waiting to come back apparantly.

the mere fact we were robbed of him for the chelsea game is annoying enough. i genuinely believe that with him we could have got a point...

Physio Room give him as "no return date" but all that means is they havnt got a scooby , it states the same for BAE and I believe he was on the bench Saturday , could be wrong about that though

I find it remarkable that 3 games into a new season everything stops for International football and just when you've stopped moaning about that it happens again after 7 games.

Surely the cretins who run the game can see that the qualifiers for the World Cup should be played during the summer of the year before the tournament and the same for the Euros. That way there are no interruptions for the people who pay their wages and we never have a football free summer.

Win, win!!

Great....etc

If somebody paid me 50k a week I'd play every day until I was 90.

Chronic ....Chelsea are in league with Beelzebub , if we had had a full strength side and they'd of had their best 3 or 4 missing we'd of thumped them ....................\Still whatever happens GB should be back Sunday but Old Nick wouldnt let that happen to his chosen people the Chaaavists

nah summer qualifiers aint good.. players need a break.

should just set aside 3 weeks of the season and play 2 games a week and that is the whole qualifying period.

have groups with 4 teams...

lesser nations have to go through pre qualifying to get to the main qualifying, this can be in the summer...

because half the teams in the group stages dont do a thing anyway.. like san marino...

3 weeks of pain say in november, or maybe in like february.

and thats that...

every time i turn round there is another ridiculous international break and its a pain in the backside.

Saturday they actually showed Moussa in the tunnel at WHL and said he didn't pass a fitness test that morning , if it had been really bad or even moderately bad they never would have given him the test......
