Tonight's game

I think RDM will play his strongest 11 tonight.

A defeat will make qualification very difficult and leave no room for error in our remaining fixtures.

A draw and then a home win will almost guarantee us going through as we will have a better head to head record against them, and I cant see us losing to the Norwegans at home.

Still a must win game, so I'd be looking to start Mata and Hazard, Moses on the left

I will be happy with the same team from the weekend. Assuming they are fit.

Really you think he'll put out our strongest team with us playing Manchester United twice and than Swansea away in the next 12 days?

With the football Swansea play, you'll need a lot of match fitness for players to press there's out the game.

Yep he'll put out more or less the strongest team available. A loss tonight could be critical but a win would put us in a fantastically strong position in the group.

Still 4 whole days (and most of sunday) to rest and prepare for the first United game.

Reckon team could be

Cech
Ivan Luiz/Cahill Terry Cole
Lampard Mikel
Moses/Ramires Mata Hazard
Torres

It's too risky at this stage to start changing too many people.

I think if RDM is prioritising the next four fixtures, this is number one. Obviously he'll play a strong team in the Man United PL fixture too. He'll rest players in the League cup. We'll probably be playing Utd's C-side in that one anyway.

Why would you play what is pretty much our B-team in what will be one of the toughest games we´ve had so far this season ?

We have to play our strongest 11 and I´ll be happy to come away with a draw tonight.

Shaktar are unbeaten in nearly a year, have as strong a record as home as anyone and you want to rest 8 of our first choice Xl players

If I was the helm I'd use
cech
ivan terry cahill bert
oscar mata hazard
stur

If we play the OP's lineup we will lose (most probably heavily) tonight and potentially go out of the group stages and both will be nothing more than we would deserve.

I think you're all over estimating them, sure they are a good side, but I'll take your guys judgement than. I'd go with this team:

Cech
Ivan JT Cahill Bertrand
Ramires Mikel
Moses Mata Hazard
Sturridge

I'll be happy with the three points, don't give a toss about Shakhtar's form going into this match.

I like this team. Definitely need Mikel there and Ivanovic is a better choice than Azpil. I could see Lampard getting a start though.

We have to finish top or we will end up faceing crazy tough opposition like bayern munich we made things even harder byy failing to close the game with juve 2 goals up at home in the champions league and we nearly lost that game i mean come on were not arsenal.

I would rather field the best team possiable because wewill probably need it try and win the game early and rest what we can.

Cech
Ivanovic terry luiz cole

Mikel ramieres
Oscar mata hazard

Torres

Get the game won then put on lampard for ramires mata for sturridge cahill for luiz

Charlag, they are unbeaten in nearly a year, we are not overrating them. Arsenal rotated their team a bit 2 years ago at that ground and got burned, if we do it too much we will do the same.

The only changes from Saturday should be JT in, ONE of Azpi or Ryan and maybe put Moses in and give Oscar and Hazard a half each (Mata had the international break off) we need to keep the team settled and keep the momentum going for United in the league, the match against the same team in the League Cup is when we can worry about resting players who might need it.

They're another Dortmund - long term manager who's not too old, team of young players who largely have grown together and a team greater than the sum of its parts.

They also have a large Brazilian contingent - 9 players, a whole third of the squad.
