You article is overlong and complicated.

In a couple of sentences what are you trying to say exactly ?

Are you on Terry´s side ?

sw6bluez:

And please don't come back with; well he was found not guilty in a court of law. The fact is JT called AF a FBC, he admitted so himself.
-----------------------------------------------------------------
This is wrong therefore I can't even be bothered to read the rest.

He has admitted to using the words he has never admitted to calling anyone a FBC. Some believe he did, some who believe he is nnocent believe he did but he has only ever admitted to using the words.

Sorry for the lengthy, legalese post, but I think it helps clear up some misunderstandings going on here recently. Also, if Terry moves to Valencia, it helps explain why this is so.
To tell you the truth, I'm as sick of this topic as anyone.

The above should not be explained in a couple of sentences, as I think it will lead to more misunderstanding. However...

The point I was trying to make was that JT did not say in his apology, as some claimed, that he directed those words at AF. His apology stated that even in the context of refuting the words he is accused of saying, those words were inappropriate.

So he's admitting to bad judgment, but not racist language.

Maybe I´m a bit thick today but I´m still not getting your point.

I think you are on Terry´s side. I am as well but I´m struggling to get to the core of what you are saying.

Geez, didnt expect to have a post created on something i said

Maybe i put that wrong, JT repeated what he thought AF had said and apologised. However, i don't entirely believe JT's version of events. That does not mean i think he's racist, just that he is extremely stupid

We are all sick of it mate but your opening statement doesn't help.

People read headlines, they rarely read the detail and if you get the headline wrong then the message will be incorrectly received by many.

However you interpret JT's apology, it's better than the one offered by Rio for his racist choc-ice re-tweet - i.e. none.

Why did JT apologise?? No backbone.

Personally I would have liked him to fight on. I believe the apology was made in an attempt to end the saga. Let's face it however it ended there will always be those that weren't happy.

There was no way JT would have successfully fought this case against the FA. He was right to not appeal although he could have come to that decision a bit quicker

Sam nothing to do with backbone or lack of - it is as sw6 and AC pointed out. They FA are a bunch of T***s and just would have added to the suspension. For once this is JT showing some smarts.

I dont know... Ive changed my stance on this issue so many times that ive given up now.. Id like to believe Terry but then I also know he is stupid at times...

The one theory which has been going through my head was.. Why would you call someone an "FBC" and then an "f ***ing nob"

It just seems a bit unnatural to me.. Maybe its me but when insulting.. surely the FBC would be the killer insult which you would want to deliver last. When in the heat of the moment, you could understand if he'd said "f ***ing nob" and then FBC but FBC and then "f ***ing nob" seems a bit weird to me

Unless he was infact refuting Anton's claim that that Terry called him an FBC then you could understand why Terry would use FBC and then call him a "f ***ing nob" for even thinking that?

Does anyone get where I'm coming from?

Just read his statrment now, fair enough he never admitted to abusing AF in a abudive way woth thise words. Still I don't see why he has to apologise for using those words, but then again looking at the bigger picture I can see where he is coming from.

If that was me I would have fought to the end. I don't see how being happy with someone calling you a racist basically and moving on is smart.

One thing I don't understand is thr fine he recieved from the club, stupid, stupid thing to do.

Tcp lol

Do you see what Im saying though? How unnatural it is to calling someone an FBC and then carry on the insulting by calling him a "f ***ing nob" after that?

posted on 25/10/12

He was found not guilty. If he did apologise now he would look like every other human ever.
A liar

Unless he wanted to quickly hide his use of FBC by following it up with a quick "f ***ing nob" insult. I dont know.

Sam what is the point in fighting when no matter what you do you will loose?

And we dont know how much the fine is.......for all we know it could be a pound just so Chelsea can look good and in a PR sense say "we fined the bad bad sweary man"

Again i think this has been done right by Chelsea - as all statements say the board have fined JT, putting it on a non public 3rd party. JT has "aoplogised", which is basically saying sorry for swearing and re-itterating everything that was said in court, and the club are backing him by saying he is still the captain.

The whole problem with this case is one thing.
Terry.
Hated by all before it happened. That has a bearing on everything
