And you said we'd smash them 5-0 Kam

I know

I was shocked by how shiiit we were.

We didn't create anything until half way through the second half. We were lucky not to concede late on, they had two very good chances.

We were awful again Samir to be honest.

Wow. We just have to face reality. We are a slightly above average side with utter dross like Gervinho, Squillaci and Chamakh on our books on huge wages.

A battering at OT awaits...

How was the defence? How was Giroud?

It was bollo.cks Samir, I can't get that message across convincingly enough.

I'm worried tbh. Wenger's had 3 games to change it up, he's done fack all, and we've looked the exact same every time.

Giroud was a bit better, held the ball up well, had a couple of good efforts from range. Again though, he had very little service. To shine, he needs better service.

There's a difference between having a bad game and going missing (not getting involved enough). Having a bad game is if you consistently give the ball away, fack up basic passes, touches, miss chances etc. Giroud hasn't gotten involved enough in some of his games for us.

Btw everyone is anticipating a heavy defeat at OT next week, for that reason alone I think we'll give them one hell of a game.

His pace is worrying too kamran. Even the could outpace fairly fleet footed defenders, but Olly struggled against Nelsen today

He's a huge guy Santi, you can't really expect a man of his height to be much faster.

We won, we can build from this.

P.S. I couldn't watch the game, I doubt we were anywhere near as $hit as we were against Norwich though, that was as $hit as anyone can possibly play, and Schalke.

Samir, QPR defended well but we didnt create anything. We could manage to pressure a bit when we made our substitutions. We scored from a Arshawin cross who hit the head of Giroud. Again a good reflex from the QPR goalkeeper deny our goal. The ball came to Arteta then and he scored. I think we deserved the goal. QPR didnt have a chance.

We came under pressure as usual then after we try to go over the line with the goal. Mannone did well on one occasion to keep the lead and Granero had another chance. Lucky at the end.

Ramsey should never play out wide again. Ever. I don't want to see him being played there regularly because he done well in that position against Man City.

I like Giroud and hes obviously a talented guy, but I do wonder whether he suits Arsenal's style. 2 goals in 15 appearances just does not cut it.

It wasn't that bad Dog, we at least had a go today, which is all I can ask. But from this level of players... it was concerning. I'm sure we can get "sharper" () in the coming weeks.

Samir, you've got to consider the fact that around half of those appearances have been 10 minute cameos.

Let's be honest, Giroud is about 3 levels below RVP.

Are you serious mate? I know he is not Usain but this pass you meant he couldnt reach even if he had a turbo on his back.

RVP's up there with Falcao and Ibrahimovic.

Then there's players like Suarez, Soldado etc.

Then below them you have your Giroud's.

He has the ability, Samir. Look at that ball to theo at west ham. There was no way in hell I thought he was capable of a ball like that, but there you go. The big man is a good player. Just have to slowly wait for him to coax it out of himself.

RVPM

Gunnerthru cheers for the analysis.

Yeah, he has missed a few good chances. But what's worrying is he's not getting those chances anymore. We're not creating chances like we were at the start of the season.
