Yes i dont disagree it was bad, its just the intent as soon as he done it he realised and apologised ect straight away, it could of possibly been a red
"Let's see you all say it when Suarez ends up on the end off a tackle like that, hopefully the sooner the better"
a) Lol shows what a vile piece of poo you are
b) He gets horrible tackles every other week.
Who the hell wishes another player to be injured?
look how far he had to stretch to catch Distin and look how far away the ball is.No way was it an accident
Shows you know nothing about the game.If he ruptured his achillies then that would have been the end of Distins career
--------
Oh shut up mate.
You Everton fans have become so soft. Strange really as your teams gives it out through thug players like Fellaini.
Look at those clips again. The Miralles challenge is a slightly late challenge. With the Distin challenge you can clearly see his standing foot slip. Look at the way he reacts to see if Distin was hurt. Do you think he would have done that if he'd deliberately gone out to hurt him??
Let's see you all say it when Suarez ends up on the end off a tackle like that, hopefully the sooner the better

Classy, as always.

If it's not a career threatening injury then what is your problem if he is on the end of a similar sort of tackle than he made on Distin
Suso, as much as I dislike Suarez, I don't think he went in with the intention of trying to hurt him, I think he was trying to play the ball.
Unfortunately it wasn't well timed and should have been a red.
Before you accuse me of bias I think the same from many of the terrible challenges from Scholes over the years.
Reckless challenges like that should be red cards in my opinion. Intent doesn't matter to me as I think 99% of people tackle with the intention of playing the ball.
Knotty
Come on. We all know the real reason Moyes highlighted this 'part of the game ' challenge. He needed to deflect attention from his captains diving and the fact that his time got away with it massively thanks to a lucky decision.
Nothing more. And he knew the media would live nothing more than to twist the knife with Suarez a little more and that you pillocks would lap it up.
Suarez just got sold the dummy by distin and stood on him. You can see that Suarez isn't even looking at where he caught him. Even professional boxers look at where they are about to strike.
You got the rub of the green yesterday. Stop trying to 'justify' your lucky turn at the end so you can keep banging on about clattenburg for another decade

Agreed, the tackle was bad could of been a red, but thanks for actually looking at the reaction ect to know it wasn't a deliberate attempt to hurt him
I laughed at your faux outrage that it was career threatening I didn't say it wasn't a bad challenge.
The fact you hope he gets challenged like that is classy.
Sounds like someone's trying to mask over Mirallas' card waving and Phil Saville's pi$$ poor dive.

It may teach him to not throw reckless challanges like that in the future if he is on the end of one.Simple really
maybe Suarez's reacted the way he did, because he realised he had just committed a red card offence, and that was the reason he was sorry?
On that basis I hope someone snacks you in the face for being such a kn0b. It'll teach you not to be a kn0b again
comment by FatJanMolby (U4297)
You have obviously been on the end of a few snacks to the face fatboy most ending in your mouth
Yeah. He realised he caught him and you could see he didn't mean it. He would have quite obviously rather have wanted to nick the ball and win the game rather than intending to hurt Distin and risking a red, and his team the match. I know he's stupid, but he's not that stupid.
Why wasn't he sent off though, that is a sending off offence all day long
Because it was an accident you plank. If there was any intention behind it why would he run up to Distin immediately to see if he was ok?
Darren The King Fletcher (U10026)
Agree with that.

I disagree. If its deliberate then its a straight red. But it wasnt, the ref called it spot on for me.

He ran up to Distin to make the ref think it was an accident you plank.Have you always been this stupid or do you practice being so stupid
Both challenge by Square show him making a movement towards the player.
He has to change direction to stamp on Distin ....for Kev he just extends his stride to complete assault
I think 90% of red card challenges are accidents. Same with hand balls. It doesn't stop them being reckless or breaking the rules.
I don't think Ivanovic deliberately fouled Young yesterday, but was a deserved red.
I know it's a different challenge to Suarez's, but I think the fact it was so late and dangerous (although I don't elieve he intended it to be) it should have been a red.
I'm impressed that you lot are managing to get so much mileage out of this incident. Carry on like this and you'll have yourselves genuinely believing that it was your team that was hard done by by the ref yesterday.
A true masterclass.
